NBA Investigating Mavs Fans’ Security Breach
The NBA was less than amused that Rudy Fernandez’s admirers could get so close and personal to him during a game in Dallas: “The NBA is looking into a minor security lapse during the Mavericks’ game against Portland on Saturday when two women found their way into the Blazers’ team huddle during a fourth-quarter timeout. The women apparently bypassed the multiple security personnel that encircle the visitors’ bench at American Airlines Center, and one reached from behind and put her arms around Portland guard Rudy Fernandez. ‘Someone made a mistake,’ said owner Mark Cuban. ‘It happens. Just ask the White House about their parties. Nothing more to it.”‘
