  I think he’s a better POINT then CP3 but CP3 has BETTER ALL AROUND game. Either way, he’s been a favortite since I saw him light up Arizona in the NCAA

  CP3 has always has always averaged more points, assists, rebounds, steals, fg%, low assist-to turnover ratio. and cp is smaller. stats dont lie. dwill has a better 3 ball because he takes it more often and he’s more consistent with it but cp can hold his own there too. i would actually compare dwill to derrick rose. cp3 is more comparable to rondo (fast,steals a lot,lots of rebounds for their size).

  You can’t go wrong with either Paul or Williams. I guess whoever gets the jewlery first. Paul has more hype, though. The steals MAY give Paul the slightest edge, but Williams is bigger, stronger, and is a superior athlete to Paul. The only knock I have on Williams is that he tends to publicly throw guys under the bus when things aren’t going right. McGrady used to do that too.

  The Philosopher: Out of curiosity, why do you consider Deron the better athlete? Paul is faster, plays more minutes, and probably has the same vertical… Deron’s stronger, yeah, but I don’t get how you came to that conclusion.
  I think Paul’s a better overall player but his injuries are making me sweat a bit.

  Deron is the better point gurad, CP3 is overrated and has always been. Collison a (ROOKIE) has came in and average almost the same numbers as Chris in that offense in New Orleans. The real QUESTION, is Chris the product of a system, where he will always get his numbers like Collison, but go nowhere. My answer is Yes, Give me a pure shooter, who can dunk on you, stop and pop and steal give you 10 dimes a night, also has a bigger body and can post up. DERON is dat DUDE!!!

  @ GA Bulldawg: During the playoff series against Denver, he threw Kirilenko under the bus that year. Before Houston, McGrady always complained about being the only allstar on his teams. Like guys in the League don’t have skills, or something. @ Jukai: Williams will drive the lane and dunk on people more frequently than Paul. Williams elevates higher on the jumpshot. He is bigger, stronger, and is a better all around athlete than Paul. He is just as quick as Paul. And him being just as quick even though he’s bigger than Paul is significant

  @philosopher according to pre draft measurements Paul is more athletic (can jump higher and quicker in agility drills) Deron is stronger. CP3 did throw a facial on Dwight though.Deron needs to hit the low post though, he can punish other PG’s with his size and strength

  I, In my humble opinion, tend to believe that combine numbers for the NBA can be a little inaccurate at times. But I’m not there, will probably never be. But as far as on court action, Paul and Williams are two future Hall of Famers barring injury. Pick one, I guess.

  no you are wrong. Pre-draft measurements are done by a third party. This is not the NFL where each team has their own measurements. This is because there are only about 75 players there, not 500 like the NFL

  you know anything pre-2000 was only reported by newspapers. The league only started documenting these predraft measurements 2000 and beyond. There are websites that verify this, I don’t want to name them (I don’t know what the policy is here). So those numbers on Deron and Paul are official.
