Andrew Bynum Says He’s Returning in the Playoffs

Young Drew told the assembled media last night that he’ll next be seen on the court at the start of the postseason. From the LA Times: “Lakers center Andrew Bynum  continues to be sidelined because of a strained left Achilles’ tendon, but he pledged to be back soon. As in, April 18. ‘I’m going to play the first game of the playoffs,’ he said before Thursday’s game against Denver, the ninth game he’ll miss. Bynum hasn’t played since getting injured March 19 against Minnesota but was already looking ahead to returning to practice next week after the regular season ends Wednesday against the Clippers.”

I thought this said Andrew Bogut and I was really excited. Then I realized it was Andrew Bynum and I didn’t care.

so another playoff series for Bynum that wll result in poor performances and Odom having to take the rebounding load.

See all the talk about Bynum being a part of the Lakers playoff aspirations….he’s CAREER PLAYOFF AVERAGES ARE: 5.7ppg and 3.8rpg – and it won’t look much better this time round.
