Chris Paul, Al Harrington Done for the Year

CP3 has a torn finger ligament, and Harrington’s shoulder surgery not only signals the end of his season, but possibly the conclusion of his career as a Knick. From the NY Times: “Al Harrington’s Knicks career probably ended Sunday night in Los Angeles, though he didn’t know it at the time. Harrington will have arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder on Thursday and will need three to four months to recover. By the time he is healthy, he will almost certainly have a new uniform. Harrington is one of 10 Knicks who will become free agents in July. The Knicks, who have their sights set on LeBron James and other marquee players, have little interest in re-signing him. The Knicks acquired Harrington from the Golden State Warriors in November 2008 in a trade for Jamal Crawford. The deal was made for payroll purposes, as Harrington’s contract expired a year sooner than Crawford’s.”

@Seven Duece – What? You don’t like a guy that jacks up wild 3s early in the clock, or over dribbles until there’s no time on the clock, and then jacks up a wild 3 or turns the ball over? C’mon man, every championship contender needs a guy like that. Also, terrible D. Gotta have that.
