Henry, Crawford, Wright Declare for NBA Draft

The flood gates have officially opened! Former SLAM Diary keeper Xavier Henry of Kansas, Xavier sophomore Jordan Crawford and Dayton junior Chris Wright all intend to test the 2010 Draft waters this June. Rest assured, this is only the beginning — keep your ears clean for more underclassmen making the early jump.

    Crawford seems to be the most NBA ready of the three with Wright being next. Xavier needs another year.

    Why stay? Because I faithfully watched every Kansas game and he lacks consistency and many other holes in his game. One more year. You need it to last.

    Xavier Henry will be a bust. No bias, just fact. He has pro size but there’s nothing to him really. He’ll be like a Jared Jefferies and to me, Jared Jefferies is not good.

    crawford has been nice since he was at indiana with eric gordon and if people forgot that, he reminded them with his performance in the tourney. X is probably going to be a lottery pick but i think staying one more year will be a better option. he’s gonna be KU’s #1 and if he becomes more aggresive, he’ll be the star that he’s supposed to be. and that way, his stock will be even higher in next years draft

    All there declarations are sad, especially X… None of there players to me are NBA Ready now… This lockout issue must be a real possibility! Most of the players who are leaving will not get drafted of will earn more splinters off the bench than playing time next season… This draft class is not very good in my personal opinion when you look at all the talent from previous draft classes
