Jamal Crawford Wins 6th Man Award

Well-deserved for Crawford. We won’t be hearing complaints from anyone about this: “To the surprise of no one, Hawks guard Jamal Crawford was named the NBA’s sixth man of the year Tuesday afternoon. Among all NBA players who didn’t start a game this season, Crawford led the league in scoring at 18.0 points per game. Crawford, acquired in a trade with Golden State last summer for Speedy Claxton and Acie Law IV, gave the Hawks scoring punch off the bench that they had previously lacked. Crawford led the team in scoring 27 times this season and proved a high-caliber finisher.”

just how hot do you think they are? I don’t think the Magic or Cavs or even Boston would ever lose a game to these Bucks…

    Anyways, congrats to Crawford.

He definitely deserved this. Congrats, Jamal Crawford! He won by a mile, too; here are the final results to the poll:

Also, how did Carl Landry only get TWO votes, both from third place? He should have been second, third place at the very least! Maybe their reasoning was the fact that he didn’t come off the bench in Sacremento anymore?

@teddy bear, yes he didnt come off the bench in sactown

I’m just happy for Jamal that he finally gets to play in the playoffs. Does anyone know why Nellie beefed with Jamal and traded him next to nothing? It just seems like the Warriors could have really used Crawford as their starting center.
