Raymond Felton’s Playoff Struggles

Felton tells his local paper that he accepts full responsibility for not coming through so far against Orlando: “For the first two games of this Charlotte-Orlando NBA playoff series, Raymond Felton has been outscored and outplayed by the Magic’s Jameer Nelson. There are many reasons the Bobcats are down 0-2 in this best-of-7 series entering Saturday afternoon’s sold-out game in Charlotte, but Felton is one of the biggest. He will tell you that, too. ‘As a point guard, I put that blame on me,’ Felton said. ‘Some people would say it’s not your fault. But being a point guard, being a leader, you’ve got to blame someone. So put it all on me. I don’t care.’ I won’t put all the blame on Felton – you’ve got to leave some for Boris Diaw – but I’m going to ladle him out a large portion. Felton had a triple quadruple Wednesday night – four points, four rebounds and four assists.”

You guys are wrong. Felton is a quality player. But of course you would say that, none of you have seen him play this year.

felton is ok but his shot is too inconsistent for him to be a good point guard. i think right now he’s just above average.

Seems to me that Felton was a big part of their success this year. I hope he picks it up, because it would give me great pleasure to see them beat the Magic. BET, wouldn’t you rather them give Tyson more minutes? I understand he’s not the greatest, but Theo doesn’t seem to be doing sh!t out there.

Felton is a quality second stringer. If he was the answer at point, they never would have drafted (the other second stringer) DJ Augustine. Hope they get John Wall!

How in the world would we get John Wall?

both unc players are blowing in this series. carter starts out 4-19 in game 1. 10 pts in game 3. anyone notice how all of unc players in the nba kinda suck. best player they have is jamison and carter i believe

Raymond Felton is not your typical NBA point guard. He meshed well with Larry Brown’s system– a dependable point guard that’ll run the offense. However, Felton is not your first offensive option when in need of points. he struggles with shooting, so he doesnt surprise anyone that he’s not having a good postseason.

You people trips me out. Raymond did a great job this season. He got his team to the playoffs and that really counts, the first playoffs at that. You people talk all that nonsense and I bet neither can’t play no ball. Shut up and be glad Charlotte has a great point guard. He is a great assess to the team. If you people had another point guard you still wouldn’t be satisfied.
