Dexter Pittman Leaves NBA Combine

Condolences go out to possible first round pick and his family. From the Detroit News: “Dexter Pittman, a Texas senior center and possible first-rounder, left the NBA draft combine early, on Friday, due to the death of his younger brother. Darius Johnson, 16, was shot in the head and killed during an argument in Johnson’s garage Thursday night in Houston, according to Pittman’s agent, Mark Bartelstein. Pittman was told of the shooting late Thursday night and flew home Friday morning.”

My prayers go out to that family. Lord please provide comfort and guidance to the Pittman family in this time. Give them the strength to cope through this tough time. Please make Your presence felt and known. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen

I just don’t understand. What is going on with humanity? We are a mean, hateful, blood thirsty, self loathing society with zero direction, zero spirituality. Not to speculate, but the root of this particular act… it doesn’t matter. Peace to Dexter Pittman and his family.

This is a very bad title. This should immediately be about how Dexter Pittman had a death in his family, as that is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than him leaving the combine. My thoughts and prayers go out to him.

Hate to hear this. Dex was one of the nicest, most down to Earth kids on Texas this year when I interviewed him. Prayers to him and his family.
