Lakers Fine Artest

Leave it to Ron-Ron to back up the greatest night of his life with this sort of mistake. That’s why we love him: “Ron Artest was fined by Lakers Coach Phil Jackson on Friday, one day after Artest banked in an off-balance shot at the buzzer to give the Lakers a 103-101 victory over the Phoenix Suns and a 3-2 series lead in the best-of-seven Western Conference finals. The reason? Artest was late to practice by about a half hour.”

    It’s fine if he wants to hit the gym after the game, but he must be on time for practice. Those are two different things.
