Wizards Land No. 1 Pick in 2010 NBA Draft
Not bad for the Wizards and 76ers, who jumped from the No. 5 and No. 7 spots, respectively, to win the first two picks in this June’s NBA Draft.
The Wiz have a chance to take the franchise in another direction by selecting top point guard John Wall with the No. 1 overall pick. Zero seemed to have completely missed the point of a max contract. Maybe Wall can take Arenas as a warning, and play his way to max contract after a couple stellar seasons.
Here are the results of this evening’s NBA Draft Lottery:
1. Washington
2. Philadelphia
3. New Jersey
4. Minnesota
5. Sacramento
6. Golden State
7. Detroit
8. LA Clippers
9. Utah
10. Indiana
11. New Orleans
12. Memphis
13. Toronto
14. Houston

First?
Well, c’mon now, a team like the nets w/ such bad luck as they had this season couldn’t expect that #1 pick. i mean like ya’ll been sayin the magic were the last worst team that got the 1st pick os yea
sound enticing.
high five! high five! no? too obvious?
Scenario 2: The Wiz draft Wall, and Arenas doesn’t like the idea of playing the 2 and asks the Wiz to trade him. After missing out on Lebron, NY offers David Lee in a sign and trade for Arenas. NY is now stuck with Arenas’ contract, he plays like he only has one leg and we suck. Barf.
