Blazers Fire GM Kevin Pritchard

Kevin Pritchard’s job has been rumored to be in jeopardy for a minute. Apparently, it ended tonight, in timing that many people are taking issue with. Says The Oregonian: “Pritchard has been fired by owner Paul Allen, less than an hour before the 2010 NBA Draft was set to begin.”

No replacement has been named.

Paul Allen is what a multi – billionaire is supposed to be… shrewd.

Firing a GM before the Draft is like Firing Santa Clause On Christmas Eve…thats kinda strange they’d do it now

he did good things for them and did one bad thing for them…..can u guess?

if we only knew what KP did to Allen.

@JACO: what did he do wrong?? you mean not drafting Durant? I think that was his major mistake, but he could not have known at the time. However, if Durant was with the Blazers now, they would be contenders, imaging a Roy/Durant backourt…

DUMBASS MOVE! He got this team back to respectability! If this is due to the Oden Pick, Mr. Allen isn’t as smart as I thought… (although that Kinect for XBOX is gonna be crazy… sorry for the random gaming thought)

Well, considering what Pritchard has done for Portland this is a bad move…unless the reports that the Blazers have interviewed RC Buford and Sam Presti are accurate. Those are about the only 2 guys in the league that I would take over Pritchard. That being said, I still think they “done him dirty.” Unless something comes out that Pritchard was up some crazy back-door shenanigans, there is no reason he should have been treated the way he was for these last few mos.
