Hedo Turkoglu Back to Sacramento?

Yahoo! has sources claiming Hedo wants to play in Sac-Town again: “Already public with his desire to be traded, disgruntled Toronto Raptors forward Hedo Turkoglu has privately expressed to league friends a desire to return to the Sacramento Kings, sources told Yahoo! Sports. After Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo brought him to Toronto with a five-year, $53 million contract last summer, Turkoglu had a tumultuous season and recently told Turkish television – and apparently the organization – that he no longer wants to play for the franchise. The Kings and Raptors have yet to engage in trade discussions, sources say, but communication is a likely possibility before the end of the month. There won’t be much of a market for the declining veteran, but there are scenarios where he could make sense for the Kings. The Kings need a small forward with an ability to put the ball on the floor and general manager Geoff Petrie drafted Turkoglu and shepherded his development into one of the NBA’s more versatile players. League executives believe Sacramento would need Toronto to minimally take forward Andres Nocioni and the two years, $13.5 million left on his contract.”

But would Sac-town want Hedo? Especially after seeing how horrible he was last season?

Note to Hedu: No one cares where you would like to go, esp the Raptors front office. Your going somewhere else, but you dont get to pick. Bum.

Turk in Sac would be the same problem as toronto, there is a player who dominates the ball and he will once again be forced to be a jumpshooter. kings got reke udrich and hopefully wes johnson, dump nocioni somewhere else

  • rich

if hes playin at like 10000% body fat why even complain about “ball” he needs to worry about the balls of fat on his body

The might, Niq. Because it’s not like he went from good player to awful player in one year. It’s not like he can’t play,it just didn’t work out in Toronto. He had a very good season in Orlando in ’08-’09, and it could work in Sacramento. As long as Hedo understands that this is Tyreke’s team.

  • TorontoFans

On behalf of Toronto fans, get the heck of town son, you useless self isn’t needed here, I’d rather bring Jerome Williams out of retirement, lazy bum

Peja should demand a trade to Sac-town too! And Mike Bibby! It would be like ’02 all over again!….not.

  • Dardano

Orlando should take him back! He was much better fit than Vince Carter was with them. They need to trade Vince back to Torono and get Hedu!

  • http://thekobebeef.wordpress.com LDR4

Where ever he ends up going hes just going to be another James Posey for the rest of his career. Over paid and generally useless. He would probably work in a triangle offense somewhere…somewhere desperate.

  • Keep

Hedo needs to get out of Toronto, and for God’s sake, we need to get something for him. I’m tired of being screwed by players asking to be traded after they dick around all season so we get nothing more than a pack of gum for them.

  • riggs

Vince to toronto right…because there ISN’T history there…

  • chingy

Turk could become the most hated player in Tdot after Wince

  • kh

See ya Hedon’t! Trade him to Asseco Prokom Gdynia in Poland for Qyntel Woods.

  • SWIFTboy

If there are any Sacto fans here, would you do Hedo and Weems for Nocioni and Landry?

  • http://www.boogiewilliams.com Boing Dynasty

    Weems stays.

  • C-Lo_The_Great

i think weems is untradable for raps
hes a good cheap young sg and could be a key piece for the future

  • http://www.stuffwhitepeoplelike.com Tarzan Cooper

Kangs have cisco garcia, nocioni, omri casspi, and donte greene. No hedo wanted or needed

  • http://www.slamonline.com/ niQ

This trade probably won’t happen unless draft pick is factored in. But that is not happening as well.

  • Aaron

If I were BC, I would gladly take Nocioni for Turk. Hell I would take a bag of potatoes over taking back Hedo Turkoglu.

If I’m the Kings, I’m not trading Landry. If I’m the Raptors, I’m giving pretty much anyone to get Landry. He is that good.

Turkoglu signed a max deal last summer, sucked the whole season, and now he’s butthurt because he got caught faking sick and got benched. F*cking loser, trade him.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Co-sign rainman10. Landry will be an All-Star for the Raptors.

  • 23-DOOM-45

I bet he wishes he’d gone to Portland now…

  • Dagger

I think all this “Turkish Jordan” talk went to Hedo’s head. Note to Hedo: the keyword there is TURKISH.

  • Tredders

Is there anywhere at all that Turkoglu might fit in? I’m thinking maybe Minnesota

  • http://www.shawnkemp.com JACO

send him to san antonio for a couple of picks and then lets see if gregg poppovich can change him from lazy to workhorse but i highly doubt it

trading a member of our young guns squad will not happen (as deRozan mentioned above), ‘specially with cb4s’ future still looming…

imo -> Turk for whatever we can get albeit, Landry, Nocioni or even Casspi (most promise, probably unlikely)… throw in the 13th too, raptors have all the young talent required to make a push for the post season.

this was BCs mistake, he should take responsibility for his actions and rectify the situation. IMO, he pulled the plug too quick on Jermaine Oneal as well. if he was still in Toronto, the Raptors would look a lot different today.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Don’t trade the draft pick for Nocioni…

  • Ali Duyar

Hedo has MIP of the year award, and MVP of Magic’s at the last year’s playoff. He deserve that contract. The playing system is very different in Toronto than Magic. He wants arrive from Toronto,it is very normal decesion.

  • http://www.hibachi20.blogspot.com Hursty

The Raptors are shooting death-glares at Hedo right now, no doubt. If he’d stayed quiet, kept it in-house and been smart about it (in general), he’d have the opportunity to go where he wants.
NOW, Toronto won’t get what should be closer to market-worth, since he’s being a little b*tch about it.

  • Coney Islander

If he is the Turkish MJ, Europe CLEARLY has a problem! This is almost as funny as Ricky Rubio’s bum ass trying to dictate where he goes in the league…he’s averaging 6.6 ppg and 4.4 apg and this is the European Pistol Pete? He’s an average NYC rec-league player!

  • vanillagorilla

Meh, he could be such a good player in toronto. Sure he is a high maintanence immature player but they are a dime a dozen in the nba, its nothing new. Get Calderon the hell out there. If you’re starting pg is getting outplayed by J Jack you have a serious problem. Jack is a serviceable starter, let derozan flex his muscles at the 2 giving hedo the opportunity to create on offense. There is no sense in trying to force him into a role he doesn’t want nor is any good at. He obviously will just tune out. With the range they had on their bigs last year the lanes should have been wide open. How about complaining about your god awful coach for awhile. He is obviously lacking the 1 skill valued above all else in a head coach, managing egos.

  • Sparty’s Law

Dear Hedo, If you would like to play in sacramento, feel free to opt out of your contract and sign there as a free agent. Otherwise, shut your fat mouth and play when and where you are told to by the people paying your ridiculous salary.

LANDRY ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE!!And were over hedo in sactown.
