Kobe Bryant Likely To Miss the Worlds

Mamba deserves a low-key summer after yet another march into the Finals. From the NY Post: “Kobe Bryant’s reward for winning his fifth championship could be right knee surgery, according to Colangelo. Colangelo said he’s not counting on Bryant for the World Championships this summer because he has been told surgery is a major option.”

    I really admire Kobe trying to participate as much as possible. He really wants to play as much basketball as he possibly can. It’s almost as if he sincerely LIKES to play basketball. Wish I could say the same for other players.

    LD- what’s not to like in basketball??Its a wonderful,beautiful game ,and the way kobe’s approaching it is the only “right” way,I suppose.I mean,I understand(to some degree)that this is their job,so you can get a little bored with this whole daily routine etc. but come on,if there’s no passion,no desire and player consider playing only for cash,as if its not enyojable for him,I think it’s a shame,and a main reason for everything inapropriate in basketball nowadays.
