Dwyane Wade To Have County Named After Him

Maybe the they’ll consider changing it to Miami-Bosh County the following week. From ESPN: “Dwyane Wade is getting his own county. By unanimous vote, Miami-Dade County commissioners declared Tuesday that the area would be known as “Miami-Wade County” from July 1-7, a week that coincides with the start of NBA free agency. The resolution was written “in recognition of all that Dwyane Wade has done for the visibility, stature and national image” of the county.”

    Wade deserves the gesture, he has given his all to Miami in the same way Allen Iverson did for Philly.
    Next, Boston needs to name an area after the Celtics and LA should think about a street called “Kobe Way”

    Wade seems loyal to Miami and has done a ton of charitable work in the area. Although it’s a corny gesture, it is nice to see the people give him something back. If only Riley could give him some support…
