Polladaday: Biggest Finals X-Factor?

Gotta stay with the Finals theme of course… We know what we get from Pierce, Kobe, and the rest of those big name dudes. Beyond the tenured All Stars, who is the biggest X-Factor in this 2010 NBA Finals grudge match?

Who is the biggest X-Factor in this NBA Finals?

    Nate Robinson…

Sasha Vujacic really deserves his own option just for being Sasha Vujacic.

  • underdog

Odom is the biggest X-Factor of all-time. He’s probably in the X-Factor HOF.

I Dont c how Pau was left out of the poll. Seeing as how he played so gutless on both ends of the floor last time. Allot will depend on how well Bynum can play with that bum knee, can he get back to help on Rondo? Can he bang with Perk? Pau’s gonna need him to if he has a chance 1 on 1 vs Garnett. If Kobe gaurds Rondo that’s gonna put a big X on him to still b that floor general that gets Ray n them going. But, Lamar Odom is the biggest X factor, if he has at Least 3 good games that gives LA the edge.

The refs could be the biggest X factor simply b/c they have been called out so often this year.

rondo is a sure fire, can’t be considered an xfactor. Gotta add big baby’s hustle and lakers bench shooters.

Nate Robinson @ Sheed- “Whut chu’ talkin’ bout Wallace?” Haha, my pick is one or both of those guys..

you could make a case for all of these options, but watching Rondo controlling a game is a thing of beauty. The Celtics sometimes look lost without him on the floor.

Ray Allen. Whenever his shot is on, the Celtics win, done deal.

This list is not complete. Andrew Bynum’s knee must be added.

I think Artest is the X-factor, but for the Celtics. I think if he turns into a three point firing, offense stalling machine like he has a tendency to, the Lakers are sunk, because they need him to gaurd PP, but they need the ball in the hands of Kobe/Pau/Odom on the other end.

  • andre anglais

Bynum will be abused ruthlessly by the Perkins and Garnett. I bet he gets T’d up before anyone of the green bad boys.

  • ripslam

Rondo is not an x-factor. I also don’t think half the people who voted understand what an x-factor is. IMO it’s Gasol, he was useless the last time around.

    Sasha? Nearin..U are kidding right?

I don’t know if Rondo is still considered an X-Factor. He’s practically been their MVP all playoffs.

  • ktokyo

It’s all about Artest. If he can just…hold…on…a…little…longer without losing his mind, the Lakers will win.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Rondo is the Celtics best player. He is not an x-factor, he is a MUST factor. And if that phrase doesn’t exist, well, I’ve just coined it.

  • http://slamonline.com JL

rondo is not x factor. artest and odom childhood buddy combo is the x factor. two most inconsistent lakers on offense. good thing they play D (more artest than odom, odom just sticks his hands up).

My dick is the x factor

I’m waiting for Horry to run on the court in a Laker jersey & nail a game winner.

  • JoeMaMa

    Shannon Brown’s D on Rondo.

    sheed and mr. kardashian

    1) Ray Ray, as someone said earlier, if he’s feeling it, the Celts become near impossible to beat
    2) Pau & Bynum (i.e. the Lakers frontcourt) – Pau, for all his merits, was borderline non existent 2 years ago, will/can he make amends? Also, a lot was made about Bynum’s non appearance 2 yrs ago, will he be the difference maker he’s been purported to be?
With all that being said, GO LAKERS!

tony allen, just to to mix it up. and 323′s dick, of course

The ability of Artest to contain Paul Pierce throughout the series will be one of the defining moments in this finals outside of Kobe and whether Ray Allen hits his shots consistently or when it matters not just in close games.

  • giogolo

Rondo and Odom are the regular factors. thats another term..they require to be in the forefront or are already or must be a part of it otherwise it gets boring. they are in between KG/PP/RA vs. AB/PG/KB and the x-factors. They are catalysts.

  • giogolo

its hard to vote for x-factors when…rondo and Celts big men were non-factors.
