Kendrick Perkins went down with a strained MCL in the first quarter last night and the Celtics lost much of their inside presence. Will they win Game 7 without him?
Will the Celtics win without Kendrick Perkins?

More than “Shrek & Donkey” i think it all depends on Sheed coming alive and Bynum’s knee
Yeah, it 100% depends on which Rasheed shows up.
it is HIGHLY unlikely Sheed, Shrek, Donkey will be able to compensate the absence of Perkins. Not only is he a GREAT defender & rebounder, but he gives the Celts the best chance to defend according to their strength (Half Court). His absence will only be further compounded by Sheed’s “SYBIL” behavior on the court and as a Laker-Love, I sincerely HOPE Sheed is Doc Rivers’ FIRST CHOICE to replace Perk!!!
cosign the above..Sheed needs to show up or C’s will struggle to control the paint.
celtics have lost every game after they have traveled, they will regain their bearings and close it out tomorrow.
what ive noticed is the celtics really need everyone since they are such a “team”. when one person goes down it really messes with roles and well, we might end up having to see sheldon williams *cringes*
Losing Perk for game 7 would be detrimental as he is the heart ans soul of the defense. Should he not play Rasheed will have to step up along with Big Baby and make a stand against the Laker’s big men. Th eother thing is Pierce needs to play better as he missed many shots and lost the ball off his foot a few times. The key is Rondo, he needs to be more aggressive than ever and finish those layups he blew last nigh, obviosuly Ray Allen needs to be on target,if KG,Pierce, Allen and Rondo play well they have a chance
I’m going to be honest here, I only clicked Shrek and Donkey cause it’s hilarious. The Lakers are going to take it if Perk doesn’t win. Chalk up the asterisk now.
I think you can put an * next to every NBA Championshion in the last 20 years. Either by an injury to some opponent in any round of the playoffs, a sketchy trade, losing on purpose to get duncan in the draft, the refs, suspensions, etc…
