Blazers Turn to Randy Pfund in GM Search

Team president Larry Miller will contact ‘a couple’ candidates in the next few days, including Pfund, who engineered the 2006 Miami Heat title team: “The second candidate for the Trail Blazers general manager opening is expected to be Randy Pfund, the former general manager of the Miami Heat. The Oregonian has learned that the Blazers will soon contact Pfund to set up a meeting. Pfund on Friday said in a text message that he will only offer a comment once a meeting has taken place. He would not say if a meeting had been scheduled.”
