Chicago Bulls Sign Ronnie Brewer
by Lang Whitaker
The Chicago Bulls continue reuniting former members of the Utah Jazz, today signing former Utah (by way of Memphis) shooting guard Ronnie Brewer. Brewer will join Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver in Chicago.
The Bulls had previously signed Magic restricted free agent JJ Redick to an offer sheet, which Orlando announced this morning they would match.
(Redick, by the way, was not a “magical” restricted free agent. He played for the Magic, which is why I capitalized the word Magic. Just saying.)
With Redick off the market, Chicago inked Brewer to a three-year deal worth a reported $12.5 million.
