David Andersen Traded from Houston to Toronto

The Raptors and Rockets engaged in a small deal yesterday, per the Houston Chronicle: “Rockets to ship center David Andersen to Toronto for 2nd round pick, per source.”

    At least this means that Houston is somewhat confident that Yao can come back for at least 28-34 minutes a game next season.

    I remember the Rockets drafted this guy as a replacement for Yao. Turns out they barely played him EVEN with Yao injured all season. Some people here on SLAMonline even said he was one of the better non-NBA players out there. I just hope he can contribute if we’re taking him in.
