Just Cuz: Jay-Z x LeBron x Nas x AZ

LeBron has been catching a lot of flack lately and it comes with the territory. He leaves Cleveland, he ostracizes himself from his hometown… not an easy choice to make. Anyway, this song came up on my iPod after not hearing it for a while and, for obvious reasons, reminded me of that fresh chalk commercial. So i decided to post it… just cuz.

Nas has always been my favorite rapper. I just can’t stand that new school stuff. A weird sentiment considering I’m only a teen.

  • kobesBESTfriend Posted: Jul.23 at 3:17 pm
both nas and jay-z think they are the king of rap like lebron thinks he’s the king on the court…but in reality we all know the real king in rap and ball lives in the west

  • Boing Dynasty Posted: Jul.23 at 3:21 pm
@schneezy, i resent you leaving out Az, as if he was Chris Bosh
@kwame, search ‘candy man remix’ or ‘street dreams remix’ ive seen it called both.

I wanna know who kobesBestfriend thinks the king of rap is. Since he lives in the west? Can’t think of a West Coast rappers who can be considered the current king of rap, no disrespect to Crooked I, who is top 5 right now

  • logues Posted: Jul.23 at 7:57 pm
bron copied that chalk thing from mj/kg.

  • bill breedley Posted: Jul.23 at 8:47 pm
“Siiiiiiiiide-kick. Siiiiiiiiiiiiide-kick. Siiiiiiiiiiiide-kick.” after all the dust/powder has settled, all you still have is nothing but a SIDEKICK!!!!

  • roybot Posted: Jul.23 at 9:53 pm
hahaha crooked i top 5 right now? man what kind of music you listen to? Ras Kass, Blu, Planet Asia, Fashawn, and MURS and Strong Arm Steady >>>Crooked I and thats just off the top of my head. Oh Yeah, go listen to some Zion I and compare them to Crooked I.

  • roybot Posted: Jul.23 at 9:57 pm

The best rapper every is either eminem or immortal technique. Unless you are a fake and like lil wayne…Biggie is in the G.O.A.T argument also.

  • JTaylor21 Posted: Jul.24 at 3:27 am
M&M is the greatest, HA HA, good joke shaggy. It’s between BIG, Jay, Lilweezyana (carter 1, 2, 3 and the drought series) not that rebirth crap. Tupac is good with the black panther crap but he can’t hold a candle when it comes to pure rapping skills to any of those guys. You westcoast clowns need to be trying to working on ur rap skills not teaching each other how to jerk.

  • Mitya Posted: Jul.24 at 5:14 am
It’s just some of their old verses laid over this cornershop track. Nas’s is, I think from one of the Flex mixtapes, Jay’s is the one os his albums’ intros, and AZ’s is, of course, the opening verse on Life’s A B.tch

  • Yoyo Posted: Jul.24 at 9:22 am
    Fresher than old spice

  • Omar Posted: Jul.24 at 9:38 am
Roybot, Crooked has been that dude ever since he was spitting a hot freestyle every week for a year and for being the best rapper in a super-lyrical group (Slaughterhouse!!!!!!!!!!) I would take Crooked over all the guys you mentioned. No disrespect to Blu and Fashawn who are awesome in the own right.

  • Tony Posted: Jul.24 at 2:58 pm
@JTaylor, ur a joke bud. Lil’ Wayne is crap. All of his music sucks. Biggie and Jay-z are pretty good but guys like eminem, lupe fiasco, shad and immortal technique are unreal, like they have unbelievable flow. Everybody says tupac and biggie are the best only because they were shot.

  • roybot Posted: Jul.24 at 7:07 pm
Omar i feel you on saying that hes the best in Slaughterhouse, but i just dont dig his material that he raps about. Rapping about boom boom clapping and dissing people arent what make the best rappers( That’s why Lil Wayne and Drake will never be the best). He also doesn’t use much multi-syllable rhyming schemes so his raps are easy to comprehend. Ras Kass had a freaking 7 minute rap about God, the Devil, and the beginnings of life. Check out “interview with a vampire” bro, it’ll make you think.

  • Tony Posted: Jul.24 at 7:53 pm
@roybot. You are 100% right. Lil’ Wayne, Birdman and Drake will never be great rappers because their flow isnt very good and all they rap about is money and girls
