LeBron James vs. DJ Fig from Akron

A man who goes by the name of “DJ Fig” tells Fox8 News his story of woe and emotional pain, caused by that mean, mean LeBron James: “Last weekend, DJ Fig, from Mix 94.1 in Akron, was at the Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas. Early Monday morning, he spotted LBJ and his entourage partying at a nightclub. As he took out his camera to snap a picture, the deejay said LeBron gave him the finger. ‘I said ‘Hey, Akron still loves you man,’ and he gave the bird as you see in the picture,’ said DJ Fig. The deejay said he was so shocked that he had to look at his camera to make sure it really happened … DJ Fig said he contacted the NBA to demand an apology and is still waiting to hear back.”

    If you are in the position Lebron is in you cannot be doing childish things like throwing the bird. You guys make think its cool or you would have done it but there is a certain way these guys need to realize they have to carry themselves especially if they are trying to develop a “global brand”.

    I would think there was a bit of sarcasm to his tweet (since it’s hard to tell that from written word) but if he actually meant it, I think that’s actually gangsta that he is embracing being hated, since he was pretty much beloved for 7 seasons.

    Everyone has a docuhe in them, lets be honest. Everyone saying Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose are down to earth, I bet their are people who feel they are douche bags too. What Lebron did is stupid, but if he wants to hold his middle finger up, then he is hurting himself. LeGone doesn’t want Akron turning their back on him too, he can’t live in Miami the rest of his life. People still love him down their, but he has to win something to me to act like a douche. Get a ring first then he can throw his ring finger up, maybe that was what he was trying to do, but his mother wasn’t around to tell him what finger that is. Just saying……

    Because I was the same guy who defended Kobe bryant during his r**e charges. Or when he demanded a trade to a team becasue he was tired of not getting any help. there people too like they make mistakes but are blown up into epic life changing events. Kobe and Lebron are the same and have gone through the same type of love and hate. to me i respect Kobe bryant but his fans seem to dismiss any other player who is better then him now or threatens to be better than him. So im a kobe bryant Fan hater.

    For a guy so interested in his global brand, he sure seems to know how to damage it. Various celebs are photographed in clubs, restraunts, malls etc all the time, and it’s actually pretty rare for them to flip the bird. In general they know it’s bad for thier image. I understand LBJ wanting privacy and if he just put his head down or put his hand up to block his face etc, I would get that too. But flipping the bird was just immature. Maybe we are witnessing a change in his strategy from being a ‘fun’ dancing goofball who just loves playing the game to being an ‘NBA Gangsta’ who’s just taking teams out w/o regard for fans and will relish in the boos. “Professional Wrestlers” switch from being fan favorites to most hated all the time, so maybe LBJ decided to take a page out of the WWE book and hired Vince McMahon as his agent.
