Magic Set To Sign Quentin Richardson

Woj just tweeted the news: “Quentin Richardson has agreed in principle to a multi-year contract with the Orlando Magic, a league source tells Y! Sports.” Add another team to Q’s resume.

    I don’t see why Barnes would go to Miami. He always talks about deserving money and a good offer, and strongly believes that he is starter material in this league. He has gotten good offers from teams, I just dont see him taking close to minimum from the Heat.

    Ever notice guys who play for one Florida team usually end up playing for the other at some point?? Shaq, Jason Williams,Q Richardson, Arroyo…Im sure theres alot of others, just dont wanna think about it too much..

    I love the moves the Magic are making, they have Dwight, Jameer, Vince, & Rashard already, plus Gortat, Duhon & Richardson & they should let Reddick walk for that price, I like the way they’re shaping out & I like the Bulls moves too, add Boozer, Korver & Reddick to Rose, Deng, & Noah, scary.

    I’m a Lakers fan so I hope Matt Barnes goes to the Lakers for the 1.8mil they have, he went to UCLA & is from Southern California, or if not him I hope we get Raja Bell, imagine this:

    @Hurricane, if you’re a Lakers fan then you’ll know Ebanks and Caracter are tearing up the Summer Leagues. Don’t need to spend extra money on Barnes. Just sign Ebanks and Caracter.

    as a magic fan, I think I’d rather have matt barnes. Q is a better shooter, but we have enough of those, Barnes provided energy, defense, and an attitude orlando had been lacking. Barnes is pretty much out, and JJ may be too much $ to keep, although there a rumors otis smith is trying to move some players in order to keep JJ.

    @LA Huey, you’re exactly right. But it’s fun seeing our team gel during the season. And I would much rather have Matt Barnes but with him gone, I would assume Brandon Bass will be getting much more minutes to make up for the energy and rebounding lost.

    I like Q, signing him to a multi-year deal I guess would mean JJ is gone. It’s a smart move. JJ is good, but Q is a better value. he plays two positions. The Bulls will be good, but not as good as the magic.

    Magic aint improving since the loss of 09, they let Hedu go which is the biggest mistake and sign VC, they let JJ go n get Q bad move also. Why i say this? Coz they need ball movement and play maker rather than stand up shooters. Simple.

    same thing with Matt and Kobe hurst, they almost got into a scuffle last year didn’t they? And if I’m Otis, I do everything in my power to retain Reddick. He was the one sole effective player through out that series against boston.
