Matt Bonner, Spurs Agree To 4-Year Deal

Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed. From the San Antonio Express-News: Take note, LeBron: When Bonner finally made his decision to return to the Spurs, accepting a new four-year contract this week, he did not require a one-hour ESPN special to trumpet the news to a breathless public. ‘I couldn’t even get the New Hampshire public access channel to call me back,’ the affable Concord, N.H., native joked Friday.”

    ….. couldn’t they just pull some chump off the street and have the same effectiveness?

    @dma – If you could find a chump who’s a 6’10″ and a 40% career 3-point shooter then yes. Yes you could.

    He’s actually a very effective reserve,he can knock down an open shot and have a big game every so often

    Yeah,basically he’s only as effective as the amount of time he plays will allow him to be.I bet he could average 15 a game if he started.
