Penny Hardaway Wants to Play for the Miami Heat

Depressingly, Penny wants to make a comeback into the League, and sees an opportunity in Miami. He tells Bottom Line Sports that he’s been making inquiries about Miami’s interest in having him back: “I texted Erik Spoelstra, I texted Alonzo Mourning … telling them to put my name in the hat … I would definitely be able to help them. With the role they’re looking for, I feel like I can fill that role.”

    Penny will be a great addition to the Heat. I had to chance to watch him in Sunset,AR and in Memphis,TN in some pick up games, and he still has it. Anyone else on here talking negative need to get your facts straight.

    Teddy: the one in SLAMs piece above. Audio starts once you click on it. I got through a few minutes, but its so so soooo bad I closed it. Penny comes on eventually. The fact that radio feels compelled to tell you ‘your listening to the xxxx show’ EVERY four freaking seconds is enough to make me go bat-sh!t-crazy in itself. I digress.
