One more time, SLAM nation. Which team has the best player pieces already for this high-priced free agent class?

Which team has the best core to build around?

Why didn’t you add rookies? I said the nets because I have a severe man crush on Favors. The Clips would also look better with Aminu in that list.

good to see the clippers getting some love.

  • LA Huey

I said Clips but Bulls are a better spot because of how terrible LA ownership is

The Nets are gonna be scary next year if they are able to grab Rudy Gay let alone Lebron James to fill that hole at the three spot. They have shooting, they have two very talented low post players in Lopez and Favors. Depending on who they add in free agency they should make the playoffs next year. The Clippers still need more shooting and so do the Bulls.

what’s with the “…” for the Knicks? I’m not saying they’re elite players, but Lee, Chandler, Harrington and Gallanari are worth mentioning.

  • riggs

aside from kaman’s first half of last season, the clips are unproven.

@ letsmotor. Lee isn’t staying around, harrington blows, chandler is a trading chip, and Gallo has 1 nice season of shooting under his belt. Big whoop.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

@letsmotor – Lee and Harrington are both free agents.

  • dsleepy

who in their right minds voted for cle?

  • Kendrick is God

    OKC baby!

I must admit of al teams OKC sounds the best then Bulls then Nets because their young players are just too good.

  • Lee

    Milwaukee Bucks.

Guess you can say of all the players in this poll, Noah, Rose and Baron are the only ones to get his team a playoff win in their career. If winning really means something, you have to put that at the top of your list.

  • deano

    lmao @ the Knicks

  • http://www.springbored.net letsmotor

OK, OK, I see what you guys mean about the Knicks lack of a core. I guess the thing is that their best player, Lee, is a free agent who has a good chance of leaving, so it’s hard to say he’s part of their core. Still think Gallo’s good enough to be a reliable part of a core, though. Anyway, I’ve got to go with the Bulls on this poll. Rose is only going to get better, Noah’s an excellent rebounder, and Deng is an underrated midrange shooter. The Nets have a real nice core to build around, too, I think, although they could use a shooter or two.

HAHAHA this is the best poll i’ve seen this site with the Knicks…

What I want to know is who are the 15 people that are convinced that Mo William’s is a legitimate second scoring option?

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Gothandles: Harrington does not blow. He is actually quite good.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Co-sign letsmotor. Chandler and Gallo and Lee SHOULD be the core, but the Knicks h@te their players. Harrington should be mentioned definitely, but again, the Knicks h@te every good player they have ever had this decade.

  • http://www.hibachi20.blogspot.com Hursty

    Houston.
    Brooks, Ariza, Scola, Yao. etc.
They get Bosh, they’re a top 3 team in the West. They were already a top 4 team when healthy.

  • http://SLAMonline.com GotHandles?

@teddy the bear. Harrington is a 1-dimensional player who camps out on the wing, doesn’t play defense, and averages the same amt. of rebounds as Jason Kidd. He should be banging the boards, blocking shots, and flexing his mid-range game.
