Sergio Rodriguez Signs With Real Madrid
Sergio, it was an…. interesting four years in the League. As reported by EuroLeague: “One of the most creative point guards in the world is headed home to Spain as Real Madrid confirmed a three-year deal with playmaker Sergio Rodriguez on Friday. [...] Rodriguez is not a Euroleague newcomer, as he averaged 6.4 points and 2.7 assists in 14 games as a teenager with another Madrid team, Adecco Estudiantes, in the 2004-05 season. He has also found success with the Spanish national team, with whom he won the gold medal at the 2006 FIBA World Championships, playing a critical role off the bench in the semifinal against Argentina.”
