  I just read this too. Damn that sucks, was looking forward to Brook playing against the world. Actually, nevermind, he does that every night in New Jersey.

  as a Nets fan I just hope he’ll be healthy again when the season starts. I also think he’ll be with the team in 2012, but we’ll see.

  no hes not…dwight,kaman,al hortford, al jefferson(if you consider him a 5), Bogut, bynum are all better. Leading a bad team in scoring proves nothing. Im pretty sure lee nailon led the hornets in scoring a few years back…next year he couldnt even get on the floor with the sixers. Lopez is a good player, but top 3 is a strech

  Mononucleosis? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infectious_mononucleosis)… For some reason, I’m just not surprised that Brook or Robin would get this. They seem like 7-foot tall, 16 year-old surfers.

  I agree that it was much of a stretch. But I couldn’t really think of many centers in the league now that are going to be the beast that Brook is going to become.
