Polladaday: Who will win the East?

The East is full of POWERHOUSE teams this year, most notably the new squad down in Miami. Other teams have made some big free agent noise and may even be favored going into the season. I would take Chicago as I feel like they have the most complete and unselfish team 1 through 5. What does SLAM Nation think?

Who will win the Eastern Conference next season?

Chicago lacks the firepower. Boston lacks the health. Orlando’s only chance is that Dwight isn’t lacking post-moves and Jameer evolves into an All-NBA guard. Miami v LA.

If someone other than the Heat is going to make a run at it, it better be this season (with the potential for a unfamiliarity between the team keeping them from the Finals), ’cause starting next season(barring a lockout) they are going to me murder for about 4 years in the playoffs.

  • Yann Blavec

In 2 years, when NY welcomes Carmelo and CP3, watch out.

I don’t want to hear any more; the eastern conference sucks. The west has been overrated for some time now, who except for the lakers has even a remote chance of making it to the finals. NO ONE.

    I’m the only “other?”

    Wizards are winning it.

im shocked that chicago is getting so many votes. why? their best shooter on the starting line up may be carlos boozer. besides korver, there isn’t anybody getting regular minutes that can hit the broad side of the barn from deep.

The die-hard Bulls fan in me compelled me to vote for the Bulls. But realistically, I know that probably won’t happen. Still, through thick and thin, nawmean?

@T-Money, Bryan Crawford likes to vote alot.

@iamse7en, you must have meant “Warriors are winning it.” I understand you meant no disrespect to my squad though. =)

Wonder who the 2% for other voted for?

Dwight Howard training with Hakeem might improve his low post game dramatically.

It will never happen but if the Cav’s knock the Heat out of the Playoffs it would be biggest thing ot happen in Cleveland in years. They might put up another Witness poster of LBJ not shaking hands or the final score… but that will never happen. Miami have it easy unless Boston are healthy.

  • Hawkace22

The Hawks have a better shot then Bulls

The celtics are going to win there going to go as the underdogs against Miami and win that if there healthy plus they got Shaq to kill the Miami big men Lakers v celtics if Kobe gets injured and gasol dies somehow thunder vs celtics

  • http://Yahoo.com Sergio Rodriguez

Orlando is still there but Vince Carter needs to show up an J.J redick needs more playing time and Howard needs more post game hawks are always going a first round playoff team and Chicago is a underdog with a huge chance at a upset againt Boston Miami or Orlando and in the west if bynum get healthy I can see the lakers in the finals again and having a huge chance of a three peat
