They are trusting one of the most underwhelming centers of the last 10 years to help their big men develop?Ironic?YES.

@Jake, just what Dwight needs. Not some lame like Ewing, from whom tutoring has only been holding him back from a Dream-like pivot-game

while a casual NBA fan will undoubtly bash Foyle for his less than stella playing career, people/fans who get to know him know that he’s a very intelligent people person.
don’t take my words for it, go listen to Lang’s podcast (the one with the Kenny Anderson interview) yourself. dude knows what he’s talking about.

intelligent though he may be, dude sucked on the court. i wouldn’t have him in charge of developing player photos, let alone their games.

director of player development has absolutely nothing to do with his abilities on the court. who you guy’s think helps these guys learn how to mentally and financially stay sound. imagine out of high school u was givin 30 million.. u wouldnt know what to do with it except spend it. these NBA guys dont exactly come into the league with much knowledge. Adonal, however did and had a lot of knowledge for these guys and they can learn alot from him. so i say congrats! i think people are confused on what his actual behind the scenes abilities are. its not about him training these guys in the game, its more training these guys to do right in their life to stay in the game. and when their time is over that haven’t pissed everything away!
