Nets to Sign Joe Smith

New Jersey plans to ink the big fella, reports Yahoo!: “Vet free agent big man Joe Smith is expected to take a physical with New Jersey Nets on Friday & sign a contract, a source tells Y! Sports.”

    Wow we have a ton of bigs this season: Lopez, Murphy, Favors, Humphries, Petro, Smith. Compared to previous seasons of Collins, Mikki Moore, John Thomas, Cliff Robinson, as a Nets fan I feel spoiled.

    even with lopez, murphy and favors on the roster, smith will probably play more minutes with the nets than the hawks.
