Polladaday: Chance of Thunder?

Kevin Durant just led Team USA to a gold medal. But how far can he bring his NBA squad this season?

How will the Thunder do in '10-11?

Time to see if that Aldrich pick was worth it…

2nd round loss if they get a favorable first round matchup, people swear that this team can beat the lakers, which is downright LUDACRIS. If teams better teams like the suns, nuggets, rockets, and mavs have never beaten this laker team what makes people think that a young OKC can.

They can’t beat the lakers…this season. To be honest though, as a laker fan, I obviously am worried what’ll happen in 2-3 years when Kobe heads on the decline. That’s when OKC is gonna run the west, cuz the suns and nuggets have gotten worse, all the blazers C’s legs are useless, and the rockets and mavs haven’t changed. All of these teams are getting old, with the exception of houston, and they dont have a C. Kevin Durant is 21, and he’s already in the top 5 in the league. OKC will rule the west in about 3 years.

actually bro i think okc has a better chance than any of those teams at beating the lakers in the playoffs.. call me crazy or an extreme thunder fan but i really do believe that they have a legit shot at taking the lakers this post season if kd and green can provide more than last post season and also if they can consistantly hit that peremiter shot (which they should have now problem doing) and the addition of aldrich will help greatly with the size problems.. if they can hit the boards better and shoot better than i dont see anything that can stop them from taking the lakers to 7 games..
    ^KoBynum..
your rite bro the thunder will be the elite team of the west in just a couple seasons and will more than likely stay there for a long time as long as everyone stays healthy

    Thunder Up!

As the only person on here who can legitimatly say i supported the Thunder before the hype, i think they have 1-2 more years to get out of the west. The Lakers still have a couple of runs left in them before they start to decay.

When the playoffs start next spring, Durant will be 22, Westbrook will be 22, Green will be 24, Aldrich will be 22, Harden will be 21….in short, they’re gonna be a problem for a long time.

It really depends on who they match up with.

I’m going to say 2nd round. However, if they match-up with the Spurs, Pop will outcoach Brooks. Lake Show will toy with them again and send them fishing in 6.

two people really think they gonna be a lottery team?

They match up horribly with the Rockets even if they finish with the 2 or 3 seed, Houston can take a game off them.

*on the road, giving the Rockets the split.

    *and steal home-court.

@ BETCATS. What dude? I’ve had season tickets both years they have been here lol. But I agree it’ll be a couple more years before they do any real damage.
