Terrelle Pryor to OSU Fans: Don’t Boo LeBron

The quarterback tells the Plain Dealer of his hopes, that drunken Ohio State college football fans will treat James respectfully if he shows up to the game tomorrow. Riiiiight: “Pryor is now a junior and James plays for the Miami Heat. Pryor said he has exchanged text messages with James this week and hopes to see him at Saturday’s home game against the Miami Hurricanes, believing James plans to attend. If he does, Pryor has a message for fans. ‘If LeBron does come, just treat him with respect and respect his decision,’ Pryor said. ‘Please, no name calling or booing or anything like that. Please. That’s my mentor, and I’ve got a lot of respect for him and a lot of love for him.’ In fact, Pryor said he was there for support after James announced his decision to leave Cleveland. ‘When he was down, when people were throwing him under or burning his jersey, I just picked him up and said, ‘I’m with you 100 percent,’ Pryor said. If James is in Ohio Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Pryor said James will be with him 100 percent, not backing the team from his new place of employment.”

Yeah will see if that happens.

  • apeman

    this won’t end well…

Awesome, let’s pair the resentment towards LeBron with a team that hails from the same place he absconded to. That’s an easy recipe for forgiveness and temperance.

Yeah Pryor wishful thinking but many people of Ohio right now are not necessarily down with the. If he comes he will get booed.

    Go HEAT!

Not happening with the kind of people that follow college football.

    I’d wager he won’t show.

Ohio should be thankful, I know the way he did things sucked, but Lebron did a lot for that state, damn he’s still doing it. If they boo him it will just show the kind of people they are.

Ohio State STOLE a chip from the U in 02, those thieving bastards and FU*K those refs. RIP to the GREAT Sean Taylor.

From the QB who also brought you, “Not everybody is a perfect person in the world. Everyone kills people, murder people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever.” When asked about his Mike Vick eye black. Not really relevant, but I just think that’s one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard an athlete say and Pryor is again stupid if he thinks OSU fans would listen to him and be respectful of LBJ.

@Jumpman, TP was on point with that MVick statement, people act like dude was out there killing human beings, they were animals for heavens sakes. How come nobody was protesting and outraged outside ted bundy’s house when they found out he killed and ATE all those people. Riddle me that.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Actually, it would be gangsta if he showed up to the game wearing an Ohio State jersey, then ripped it off wearing a Hurricane jersey underneath it!

America is very backwards when dealing with celebrity. Jeffery Daumer cannibalized people as well, he made the news for a solid week then was forgotten about. Cleveland is proving to be a very arrogant place…for what reason I don’t know, that place SUCKS! The fact that LeBron still has people talking about that craptastic place is amazing! I wonder what would have happened if he did kill someone?! SMH

TP was on point?! He literally said Everyone kills people. Don’t you think that is a bad perspective for a young adult, future millionaire to have? You shouldn’t be so dismissive of animal violence. Vick was protested against because groups with strong feelings about animal cruelty saw the opportunity to use this as a platform because of the media attention. No one needs to protest serial killers because almost everyone on the planet is already in agreement that that is morally reprehensable. Also, Bundy didnt eat his victims that was Dahmer (please go to http://www.google.com and bookmark it, comes in handy).

JP, does it really matter whether dude ate someone or not, he still KILLED people. It seems to me that people care way more about f*cking animals than PEOPLE, which is incredibly disturbing and mind boggling

  • http://www.slamonline.com jumpman3224

JT, my original point was…Pryor literally said that all people kill other people. That is a disturbing statement. I think it is just that people how are passionately against animal cruelty are louder because they are trying to rally support. No one needs to protest at a serial killer trial/arrest because 99.999999999999% of americans agree that any such acts are horrible, so no need to rally support.

@Coney Islander: Just curious, how is Cleveland proving to be arrogant?

  • http://www.hoopsvibe.com/features/overdribbling chiqo

i almost expected pryor to yell, “LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!” somewhere in there.

  • PapaBearATL

@jumpman ‘all people’ is a general statment as in: all races, creeds, colors, social status’s, professions. There are those out there that would kill 10 people to save a single farm raised mink. Not that stupid of a statement.

Nothing wrong with a young man standing up and trying to protect his mentor. It won’t help but, nothing wrong with trying.

Somewhat related, last year, throughout midwest and south, cops and fbi ran an undercover dogfighting operation. Undercover cops got in the ring and fought dogs, then arrested all the people they fought with. Incredible hypocricy and animal cruelty. The cops took perfectly fine dogs and fought them, injuring many, to make cases against the exact same act. Vick got what? 18 months in the fed right? Many drunk drivers kill people and get less than that.

Terrelle Pryor need to worry about beating Miami and less about a grown man named Lebron James who put himself in this mess with “THE DECISION SHOW”. BOOK IT!!

    LeFraud ain’t coming.

  • James aka…

The first step towards serial killing is animal torture so maybe that analogy isn’t that helpful to vick. Also, since none of us were old enough to know who ted bundy was when that happened, whats your point?
