Charles Barkley Doesn’t Care What You Think of His Gambling

Sir Charles will continue to gamble to his heart’s content, and as he tells GQ, if you’ve got a problem with it, well … : “[In 2006, Barkley said his lifetime gambling losses were 'probably $10 million.'] ‘Yeah, I like to gamble. And I’m going to keep gambling. And I just have to tell people, if they don’t like it, they can kiss my ass. Fuck ‘em. You know, I quit gambling for a while. But then I was like, ‘Why am I quitting gambling? I don’t have a problem.’”

Well he is entitled to gamble. And he doesn’t have a problem (so he says) so god bless him.

It’s not affecting the welfare of him and his loved ones, so in that case it isn’t really a problem. If I lost $10,000 on gambling, I’d be in some serious problem, let alone 10 mil.

He’s not addicted to gambling. He’s addicted to sitting in a semi-circle. RIP Mitch Hedberg.

lol LeoneL. Has Chuck ever cared about what anybody thought about anything he does?

  • T-Money

Kinda ironic that he doesn’t see any problem with opining on everything and telling other people what they should do. Just saying.

He is without sin should cast the first stone.

    “M not a role model”… eat donut… “at’cha!”…blink.

  • LA Huey

co-sign T-Money. It’s one thing to share an opinion, it’s another to criticize with the kind of venom Chuck’s been spitting.

Chuck should have donated the $10 million he’s lost gambling to Cavs fans for tissues and matches.

Next ex-NBA star to be bankrupt?

$10 Mil is a big number, but considering his total earnings, he can afford it. That’s ‘just’ $500k a year for 20 years. So he covered a large part of that with endorsements alone. Now that his playing days are over and the endorsements aren’t like they use to be – I hope he’s cut back his gambling. But he’s a grown @$$ man and if he wants to gamble, he should.

    hahahaha YES Leonel, well done!

Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan can afford to lose money. Antoine Walker? Not so much…

I guess [he'll] keep on gamblin’, lots of booze and lots of ramblin’, it’s easier than just waitin’ ’round to die

  • Easy-E
