Heat Sign Jerry Stackhouse

The 36-year-old proved that he still has game in Milwaukee last season. He’ll fill-in nicely off the bench for the Heat while Mike Miller’s on the IR. From the Miami Heat’s twitter: “Confirmed: @MiamiHEAT signs Jerry Stackhouse.”

    I used to really like him when he was younger, not that I dont like him now.. IMO Heat just continue to get better and better.. Even if he doesn’t play a single minute, He, and Juwan Howard’s presence in the locker room should be very helpful.. (they might want to look into getting a vetern point guard added to that roster)

    Riggs: you are who you defend. Next to playmakers like bron and wade, housr makes much more sensr than arroyo. He’s as nich of a pg as kerr and bj armstromg were. Knocking down shots and playing team defense is all he needs to do.

    stackhouse is good. surprised someone else didn’t pick him up until now. but he hinted in an interview that he really wanted on this team. be interesting to know what contract he’s on.

    Are the heat fans kidding themselves? If stackhouse had as much juice to his game, as I am reading in the comment section,,,he would have been signed before this injury,we know he wasnt sitting around waitng for the best offer,because other teams wasnt interested that much. Another old minimun player,who is he going to guard on defense?,thats where teams will attack,2 or 3 spot,where all the athletes are.
