‘Inside the NBA’ to Trail the Miami Heat

It won’t be quite as nauseating as ESPN.com‘s “Heat Index”, but EJ, Kenny and Charles are going to pay quite a bit of attention to Miami this year. From the AP: “Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson will be on site when the Miami Heat open the NBA season at Boston on Oct. 26. The trio also will broadcast live from Quicken Loans Arena on Dec. 2 when James returns to Cleveland for the first time as a visiting player. Barkley has been critical of the way James handled his departure from the Cavaliers in July. TNT’s team traditionally only travels from its Atlanta studio for All-Star weekend and the network’s coverage of the conference finals.”

Mark my words, Charles will back down and say something like “he’s a good kid, I’ve got no problem with him, blah, blah, blah”. He’ll suck up to all three of them, watch. The feminist in me won’t let me call him what my friend Eboy calls him, but the emotion’s the same.

Cheryl’s right Barkleys back down game will be in full effect. Just like the rest of the media winning shuts all mouths. Hopefully on air is the only place we’ll hear sucking up and Barkley in the same sentence. Lol

of course inside the nba is doing this, it’s all about the ratings. that said, i need to rant about something, and this seems like as good a place as any to do it. you know how the heat lost to the bobcats last night? well, on sportscenter this morning, the recap included not one bobcat highlight. in fact, they may not have shown anything that wasn’t a lebron play. $%@&

wonder if they’ll say wade is playing with a bunch of titos now?

It’s not like Charles or any of the other former players completely dogged LeBron anyway. All Charles said was that it was “disappointing” to him. Even in that speech, he reiterated that he likes LeBron. So yeah, he probably will say something to the effect of what Cheryl said, but it won’t be because he’s sucking up, or scared or anything like that.

Charles was already backing down like a mutha on the Dan Le Batard show when Dan had to “remind” him that he called them punks. He was back in LeBron-is-a-great-kid-and-the-best-basketball-player-in-the-world mode. He said ESPN’s coverage was a joke but now TNT will go on the road for Miami?

still trying to figure out whether Charles loves or hates Lebron…..confused

  • NickthaQuick

It’s gonna be real interesting if the Heat lose that first game against Boston. Pretty sure they will get killed in the media for being overhyped as this Super Team. They will be good but it’ll take them some games before they get there. Eboy will be spending long hours on this site defending his Heat.

  • http://Slamonline.com ENDS

yeah give it a rest Eboy. you got on Magic and Charles for stating their OPINION on ur new player, but convieniently left out your idol Mj who said the same exact thing first. hypocricy at its finest
