LeBron James Cramps Up, Leaves Game

It looked serious, but apparently it’s not. Via NBA.com: “LeBron James left the Miami Heat exhibition game against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday after grabbing at his right hamstring in obvious discomfort. The Heat said James was cramping, and his return to the game was uncertain. James came back to the Heat bench – without a limp – about 2 1/2 minutes into the fourth quarter. James reached for his right hamstring with 3:51 left in the third quarter, walking with a bit of a limp off the floor and then quickly through the tunnel toward the Miami locker room. He was followed moments later by Dwyane Wade, who is sidelined with a right hamstring strain. Wade emerged after a few minutes, smiling when he took his seat on the Heat bench.”

Obviously he would make it look serious. Man up Bron.

  • http://www.slamonline.com James the Balla

Hey, JTaylor, not faking though right?

  • smooth

its never serious with him he thinks every thing is a game hes lucky hes on a good team because he would never have had ring not saying that the cavs are bad its just that they need some some veterans that can show them how to win the right way. they did have z but they need more. they did have shaq but he’s a sorry excuse for leadership now. he was awsome back then but now hes like a hore going from team to team just wanting another ring to compete with kobe. any ways i hope lbj has changed his ways live to the hype.

  • http://slamonline.com Yknot

@ smooth He has to live up to the incredible hype and expectations of PRESEASON basketball? Gimme a break! Leave establisihing your superstar status in meaningless games to rookie Allstars like Cousins!

  • Robb

wow, the heir to Paul Pierce’s throne is here. He’s a king no doubt. All hail King LeFake.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

No one here ever cramped up playing ball before? Oh….that’s right, 99.8 percent have never picked one up, and the ones that have mainly had sh*tty high school careers and never advanced past rec league ball….where you couldn’t even start. Sorry that I forgot that.

  • http://www.slamonline.com James the Balla

Eboy, all I am saying is he is faking, just like Kobe always fakes broken fingers and knee surgeries!

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Geez, D. Wade was right. EVERY. LITTLE. THING. about the Heat is being dissected, inspected, and hyperbolized. That 9/11 comment was still stupid as hell though.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Oh yeah…and his team won…by double figures with him missing significant time and Wade not playing at all….against a foreign team that played like they were fighting to stay out of Siberia. Amazing how the World Champs couldn’t do the same a week ago, even when the Mamba tried to come back in the game to save the game….and couldn’t. Preseason basketball….FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

James….Kobe faked trying to win a preseason game and failed at the end. That makes him a faker too.

  • EJ

If it was Kobe, JTaylor would be all over here saying he’s making excuses.

  • http://www.slamonline.com James the Balla

Exactly, faking injuries and faking games. These stars now a days… Eboy, I am making fun of JTaylor, and not being serious one bit. Chill homie.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

I was breaking your balls too, James….I never get to do that anymore! Glad to see you.

  • http://www.slamonline.com James the Balla

Thanks man. I just am getting tired of seeing JTaylors comments.
It’s nice, I have like a month off, but I am bored as f()ck lol.

  • http://allanzuss@yahoo.com Mendel

you all hear that Delonte West banged Lebrons Mom. and apparently someelse did to and it quite possible could have been a gang bang.

  • MUBWAR

for all u HEAT and LBJ haters out there, the day of reckoning is about a week away…anyone from the east’s like mr i can’t shoot a j Howard to Boston old legs will all crumble in front of them…and for the Lakers sake, let’s just hope they make it out the west for the FACE OFF…

  • vtrobot

not hating, but you think the heat are going to come in and take that first game? i don’t know. they seem a little fragile right now. boston is going to be FIRED UP.

  • T-Money

This is not news. It’s funny how every single journalist on twitter b-tches and moan about Miami’s coverage (SLAM writers included) and then you run posts about a dude cramping up in a pre-season game.

  • http://Www.dimemag.com Royal

Cramps suck I remember one time my teammates in highschool had to carry me off the court cause I got one so bad…. Yeah I’m a big baby when it comes to
    pain smh

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

You didn’t hear this from me but……..the Heat haven’t shown one offensive set yet in any of their preseason games. Not one. You think the reason Dwyane is missing so much time is because of a gimpy hamstring, that by the Heat’s staff’s own admission is not a problem today? Or perhaps it’s because they’re not going to show ANYTHING until the games really matter. Yeah, Boston better be ready for The Unforgiven’s first bloodbath.

  • The Fresh Prince of Nsam

    There we go…

  • JTaylor21

Jamestheballer, well get your STEVIE WONDER on if you’re tired of seeing my comments. I call it how I see it, if you don’t like it oh well!

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

Uhm, every media outlet has to cover Miami in some form or fashion (SLAM is no exception). It’s good business and it makes money, but it’s still overkill. Please don’t skewer me Eboy…

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

I’m tired of hearing about them too. I just want to see them play meaningful games.

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

Word, E. I don’t care about a video of the Heat viewing a weapon’s demo on the military base where their training camp was held and having to see LeBron dance after something got blown the f**k up. That said, sigh, yes, I watched it…and that LBJ, man, he can dance to ANYTHING.

  • CONEY ISLANDER

YO IT’S A HAMSTRING CRAMP, THAT SH*T HURTS! PLAYING WITH THEM CAN BE DONE FOR GAMES THAT MATTER, IT’S PRESEASON! IT SOUNDS LIKE ALOT OF NON-ATHLETES ARE TALKING ABOUT THINGS THEY’VE NEVER HAD AND CAN’T UNDERSTAND. SMH

  • MUBWAR

then turn on the tube on oct 26 for the shake awaiting the Garden…lol

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

So as fas as I can tell, Mubwar is both a Rajon Rondo AND a Miami Heat fan? Hmmm…

  • http://sdklff.com Jukai

“…and that LBJ, man, he can dance to ANYTHING.”
Probably will be the quote of the week.

  • MUBWAR

honestly I was originally a Chris Bosh and Lebron James fan…which this summer made me a new Heat…and for Rondo, the day that J comes in place we will forget every other pg ever existed…

  • http://slamonline.com Kap

Why are they hiding offensive sets? This ain’t football Eboy…

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

    @BC – and a Bulls hater

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

@Mubwar: I have a theory… If after years of playing basketball in HS, college, and now in year 5 in the NBA, if a guy doesn’t have a J by now, he probably won’t ever have one. So if he does get that J, maybe you’ll forget that every other PG exists, but I sure won’t. I’m not sure anyone else will either, but hey, to each his own.

  • The Philosopher

    LONG… LIVE… THE KING.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Kap…..because most teams are probably going to expect them to freelance a ton with Wade and Bron handling out around the three point line and leave Bosh standing outside of the paint for catch and shoots and or driving lanes from the baseline. That seems too easy, no? It’s my informed opinion.

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

    @Enigmatic: He’s just misled, that’s all…

  • http://www.slamonline.com/online/blogs/farmer-jones/ Ryan Jones

King without a ring! Or a jumpshot! But with a cramp! LOL!

  • http://slamonline.com Kap

Eboy…I honestly think running the triangle some plays would be good for the Heat also along with pick & roll and getting out on the break but I’m no coach just an opinion.

  • MUBWAR

Hey Bryan let’s kill the conversation while we still have time…i don’t wanna read a bunch of morons with no NBA knowledge to talk about Rondo sucks compare to other pg…

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

@Mubwar: I have no “NBA knowledge”? Interesting… Pot, meet kettle.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

When Lebron and Kobe show up on the Top 50 will it even be worth reading the comments?

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

Screw LeBron and Kobe’s Top 50 write-ups, how come nobody is commenting on Myles’ Miami Heat Season Preview? Ceritifed dope!

  • MUBWAR

Bryan i wasn’t talkin about u…READ UP MAN

  • http://slamonline.com Kap

@Allenp…We may find out if Lebron was right or wrong about race when the Brett Favre “situation” gets resolved.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

    what preview? i missed it.

  • The Philosopher

    Kap:
If The King would have pulled that stunt, the world would have stopped spinning for a good 10 – 15 seconds.

  • The Philosopher

    @Ryne Nelson:
That’s ANOTHER reason why he is The King…
    No rings.
    Allegedly no jumpshot.
    Allegedly no post game.
How can one not have any of those skills and STILL be the best player in the world?
    Because, he is…
    You know.

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

@Philospoher: You mean Ryan Jones, right?

  • The Philosopher

    Bryan Crawford:
    Yeah, Ryan Jones.
I’m on a roll today, man.
Spanny fools the hell out of me.
I’m calling people by the wrong name.
And on another thread, Magic is G.O.A.T.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

LOL @ Philosopher. One of them days, mayne…
