Polladaday: AI’s Future?

Both China and Turkey have come up as potential destinations for Allen Iverson. Where should he go?

What should AI do this season?

    Personally, I think AI should grovel his way back to the NBA for vet min.

    You’re more likely to find him at a strip joint

    AI belongs here n the L. He doesn’t belong n china,turkey or anywhere else. And he mos def shouldn’t retire. The L tho is willing 2 let him go. Its a travesty what there doin 2 AI. All the clamoring from his fans as well as fans of bball wanting AI 2 stay but the L apparently has selctive hearing. It will b a sad day when the answer goes elsewhere

    Wherever he his in the world we should vote him into the All-Star game ala T-Mac style! You treat the world like it’s constantly against you then one day you look up and it finally seems you may be right. Is talented and hardworking as he is/was, he should have taken less opportunities behind the podiuim and let his actions speak for him.

    ^ He WAS voted into the all-star game last year.

    so is it the case that he has been offered the vets min. and he’s looking elsewhere?? or can he not find any offers around the league at all??? kinda confused

    I, Like most of us have admired AI since gtown days & beyond. I’ve even hit him up on myspace & told him to leave philly since they were soooo ready to send him to the clipps every year. Now looking at his current situation, he should go overseas…develop the team game that is run over there & come back refreshed & rebooted. Show what he’s got left to give to the game & do the damn thang!!

    Or, he’s 34, has arthritis in both knees, is physically done, is a chronic headcase with a traveling circus of an entourage, takes bad shots and is disruptive to team chemistry. Maybe that’s why no teams want to bother with him. If he was 24 and could still light it up, then he’s worth it. At 34, he’s done. Eddy Curry has a better shot at staying in the L than AI.

    He doesn’t belong in the league anymore and has only himself to blame for that. I ticked the ‘retire’ box.

    @Enigmatic/PapaBearATL: fans are stupid.

    I’d love to see Iverson vs Starbury in China! And they’ll be on the same all-star game and go crazy like they did in 01! Ecept they’re old and washed up. Would be fun nonetheless.
