Last week we voted on the best four in the NBA right now, but what about all time? Who’s the best in the League’s history?

Who's the best Power Forward of all time?

    Got to be timmy

  • Andy

    Amir Johnson…. KIDDING

  • EJ

    BRIAN SCALABRINE!

  • Mack

Chuck always defers to Malone & Timmy but let’s be real. Barkley was a one man show for most of hid career. He started out with an over the hill Dr J & Moses. And finished with an over the hill Pippen and Olajuwon while he himself was over the hill. So during his best years, he played with bums relative to what the other two guys had (a hall of fame center and point guard, respectively).

  • Slamb

Kemp. NBA superstars 3 pearl jam clip will make you believe. Duncan should have played cricket for the west indies as a fast bowler…

  • http://twitter.com/jew94 Ariel

    Kevin Garnett

  • reald

    KEVIN GARNETT
    DA KID
    THE BIG TICKET
    KG

  • Hammer

Has 2 b timmy. 4 titles. And has 20,000+ pts, 10,000+rebs, 2,000+ blocks and 3,000+ assists. Something that only the dream, kareem and shaq have been able 2 accomplish. Hands down best pfoat

  • KA

You’ve got to be kidding me not adding Garnett to this list. Career 20/10 guy, MVP, all the all star & defensive first team selections… CMON SLAM!!

  • http://yahoo ddub

The person who schooled the big ticket on how to play the pro game,,Kevin Mchale.

  • JTaylor21

The Mailman would fed-ex TD’s a** and ship him to no-mans land if he was still playing.

  • JD

    1. Tim Duncan
    2. Kevin Garnett
    3. Charles Barkley
    4. Karl Malone

  • meloman2.0

i think the power forward position is the weakest out of all in terms of great players

  • terrence

    KG!

    Lmao @ Scalabrine

  • http://slamonline.com Krishan

Lol jtaylor, I h’ope that when malone fedexes duncan to no-mans land that he doesn’t forget to ship those FOUR CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS with it. I gave you the all caps because I KNOW how MUCH you LIKE them.

  • Yann Blavec

If Malone was so good why didn’t he win during MJ ‘s first retirement ?

  • http://www.michaelcho.com M Cho

The gap is smaller than some people think, but It’s gotta be Duncan over anyone else on that list. His game is just too complete – and that’s coming from a dude who hates watching Spurs games.

  • http://slamonline.com kane

I would take the mail man over timmy any day of the week its amazing how people forget. Let ask ourselves this question how far would timmy would have gone w/o having david robinson on his team?

  • max

It is Duncan and it’s not even close,I mean come on!Malone had a HoF pg whereas Duncan had Tony Parker for 3 of his titles. He played in the WCF of the early 00′s,an era with the Lakers,Kings,Blazers…teams that can be considerd one of the best ever. And he won.He is clutch,he defeatet KG,Nowitzki,Stoudemire,Wallace,O’Neal. It is not even close.Period.

  • logues

    KG all day baby

  • http://bassbesteck.wordpress.com Bassbesteck

    Dennis Rodman^^

  • http://slamonline.com Slick Ric

    Kevin Garnett

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/Uncle05Sam Earl

KEVIN GARNETT, and I hate the Celtics.

  • mmmmmike

    LARRRRRRY BIRRRRRRD

  • Holiday

Duncan always had tons of talent around him, Malone was way better he played a way smaller market and his help down low was Greg Ostertag! Was Jordan not the greatest? How can you fault him for losing to the Bulls of the 90′s! He played against Shaq in his prime, Hakeem, Ewing, David Robinson, all the celtic bigs, Ric Smits Chris Mullins, Dennis Robinson, Mourning…… oh and number 2 all time in scoring in case y’all forgot!

  • http://Slamonline.com Caboose

I honestly don’t see how people can say Kevin Garnett. KG didn’t start putting up 20-10 numbers until his 4th season whereas Duncan averaged 21-12 his first season. Duncan has 4 rings, KG has 1. More importantly, Duncan has 3 Finals MVP’s (should have 4), KG has 0. Duncan has 2 MVP’s, KG has 1. Duncan has 9 All-NBA First Team selections, KG has 4. Duncan has been named to 13 All-Defensive Teams (every year), KG has 10. Duncan put up 18-10 last year, KG put up 14-7. The only thing KG has that Duncan doesn’t is a DPOY award, even though Duncan has averaged more blocks and rebounds for his career.

  • Holiday

Oh and by the way a championship is a team accolade not individual! Robert Horry has about 7 if I remember right, the way most of you are putting it he’s the greatest!

  • http://Slamonline.com Caboose

@Holiday, I guess John Stockton doesn’t count as “tons of talent”? Tim Duncan was clearly the man on every Spurs championship team, even playing with the Admiral. Malone may not have even been the best player on his own team.

  • http://counterkicks.com Q

Garnett but after Duncan. KG is sick, the energy that he can still bring to the table is downright stupid

  • http://www.nobrain.dk acmayin dedeler

    danny fortson. period.

  • http://facebook.com/Dodos21 Anthony

    Shawn Kemp -period-

  • http://bulls.com Harry Twatter

    KG hands down!!

  • Hammer

@kane. How far would duncan go w/out the admiral? Really? Hope that ur joking

  • CeltsKG5

    Kevin Garnett

  • rich

KG is my idol in terms of leadership and desire. he could be in the nba if he was 5’5 just because he can will himself to do anything. if he wanted to fly he would find a way

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Karl Malone! Let’s be real, Duncan gets the nod because of his four rings, but he also didn’t have to play in the era of Michael Jordan. Duncan’s Spurs wouldn’t have won sh*t either from ’91 to ’98. I say Karl Malone is the GOAT PF.

  • Adam Sandler

whoever putting karl malone over tim duncan is unthinkable. duncan in his prime would have sh*t on those accolades karl malone have because he’s simply got much more than that

  • http://Slamonline.com Caboose

Ok, to the people putting KG, please defend your reasoning because I already gave numerous reasons why Duncan is better. Show me a good argument for Garnett.

  • robel

If were goin by numbers and not championships, then Dirk can be considered.

  • Roy

    josh mcroberts

  • letsmotor

if you really consider both sides of the ball, it’s gotta be duncan with kg right behind him. after that, i’d go malone and then barkley. then maybe mchale.

  • pache

    kg

  • bashmo

number 1 PF ever gotta be Tim Duncan, but iunno why you dont have KG as a candidate. He was better than Barkley no doubt, and the reason why I put him over Malone is because of his defensive prowess. KG is really one of the best defenders in the history of the his versatility and intensity. And I mean who else in the league, past and present was EVER able to guard ALL 5 positions? Maybe Scottie Pippen, but without a doubt KG was able to. And this is something about him people tend to forget or slip when ever he is considered as one of the greatest. here is the List:
    Timmy
    KG
    Malone
    Barkley
    Probably Dirk Nowitzki

  • bashmo

and max…you seem to forget that Duncan had David Robinson playing for his two titles as well. If you watched the 99 finals, that relieved a lot of the offensive stress that Duncan had to endure. In 03 he had tony parker to boot. So I don’t know what youre getting at by saying malone had stockton. They played in the era of Jordan. I dont blame any team for not winning during the 90′s LOL!

  • whoooo!

Yeah, Malone played Jordan. Duncan battled SHAQ. let’s not act like the Lakers were chump change. difference is, he swept them in ’99, and then left them CRYING(!) in ’03, dropping 37 and 16 to close it out. dude hung 20/20/10/8 to close the Finals out! those are ungodly numbers, and more importantly, they were in the playoffs. oh, and in ’03, Robinson was on his very last legs, and Speedy Claxton was closing out the 4th quarters b/c Parker was 20yrs old at the time.

  • http://www.bunzl.com.au OZ Baller

    Mail Man no doubt

  • whoooo!

and i gotta go with Caboose – he backed his argument up, while nobody else has been able to. TD since a rookie has been all-nba and all-defense every single year. From the very first day he stepped on the NBA court, he was one of the top 15 (usually top 5 or top 10) players in the league.

  • haslem

Malone was a choke artist when it mattered, Duncan is the ultimate teammate and a top ten player of all time regardless of position. This isn’t even close. To say Duncan wouldn’t have gone far without Robinson is crazy. He won with him past his prime in 1999 he won with his corpse in 2003, and he won two more without him after that.

  • Anthony

Im sick of this “because he played against Jordan he didnt win a ring” Malone chocked big time when it mattered the most, plain and simple. Even Jerry Sloan is saying Tim is the GOAT. Give me valid arguments that will overcame 4 NBA Titles, 3 Finals MVP, 2 MVP, ROTY, 9 All-NBA First Team, 13 All-Defensive Teams, beating Shaq and Kobe combined in ’03, prime Wallace and Wallace in ’05, 20-20-10-8 during G6 Finals’03. Whoever who didnt vote for Duncan dont know sh*t about this Game. And thats why im not surprised JTaylor thinks Malone is better.

  • Anthony

Ask Bill Russell who is the PF, he will tell you Duncan. Ask Jordan, he will say Duncan. Ask Shaq, he will say Duncan. Ask Kobe, he will say Duncan. Ask Sloan, he will tell you Duncan also. And it’s not even close.
