Yesterday we debated point guards, now let’s talk fours. Which power forward would you most want on your favorite team?

Who's the NBA's best power forward?

How can you not put KG on that list when he revolutionized the position when he came into the league and is still doing it after all these years.

It’s still hard to believe the Lakers got Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown, Critter, Marc Gasol and a bunch of hollow first round draft picks aka NOTHING… and they didn’t even have to take back Brian Cardinal’s horrible contract. That trade, and getting Fisher for nothing from the Jazz, as well as Dr. Jerry Buss’ willingness to start paying luxury tax are why the Lakers got back to winning championships. Kobe is lucky he’s in a good situation, or he’d still be looking for his 4th championship sans Shaq. BOOK IT! You know I’m right. Strength and Honor, IAMORANGE4EVER rofl

It depends what you want… but i’m saying Pau or Dirk… who are the people who voted other refering too? Love? Garnett? Lee? Scola? Stoudemire?

  • Blackphantom

Out of this group I’d go Pau

  • Yesse

Pau, probably. Amare is having the biggest responsibility as a PF now, but i think Pau is going to be the best PF next season. Amare should be on this list, though.

Ten years ago I would have picked Duncan, five years maybe Dirk..but now its definitely Pau’s time as top PF…His style fits their system, he’s dropped the ‘soft’ label and proved he can win a ring. (Relatively) easy choice at this position.

How is Garnett not on this list?! A career 20/10 avg, MVP, Finals, and after how he ripped the Magic & Cav front courts in last years postseason

  • whoooo!

for everyone questioning KG’s absence, i think it’s about RIGHT NOW. TD #1 all time, and KG has had better careers than the others, but as of today, Pau Gasol is the best pf in the league.

Gasol rebounds and plays better defense than Dirk, he’s the best passing big man in the league, he’s money from 15 feet, and he wins everywhere he goes (took Memphis to their only playoffs even though they never won a game). Only thing Dirk does better is score and he gives Duncan hell whenever they match up.

If you put Duncan on the Lakers instead of Pau, that team could go for 70 wins. Enough said.

No disrespect to Pau but how the heck did Dirk only get 25 percent of america’s vote!Dirk is better than Pau any day.

I’m taking Pau, somewhat easily too. Remember, its about RIGHT NOW. So stop referencing KG’s 04 MVP you idiots.

  • Overtime

i want the names of the 36 people who voted for bosh

  • Yesse

Overtime, they are heat fans of bandwagon fans.

  • basketblogger

best PF right now is dirk. imagine if dirk ever got to play with a superstar perimeter player or another big.

  • omerurundul

pau gasol is obviously the best pf now, but duncan was better a few years ago. dirk is a great player but not a clutch player. we saw him in the finals. also bosh shouldn’t even be in this list.

    Right now, it’s Pau.

  • Roc

    Other: Zach Randolph

  • Morgan

@Stephon – you do realise its not just America’s vote, don’t you? the world doesnt just end at the limits of your understanding (thankfully).
@overtime – agreed. Slam should just ban any new Heat fans from voting/posting on anything. Voting for Chris Bosh in this discussion is like a broken pencil.

@ Morgan dang why such hostility just stating my opinion sheesh!
