LeBron James: ‘We Are Not Having Fun at All’

Following Miami‘s sixth loss of the season last night (by far, their worst), James told reporters that his team needs to rediscover the joy in order to start winning again. The Palm Beach Post has the quotes: “There’s only so much anger that can take care of a ballgame,’ James said. ‘You still need to go out and play. We need to play with the confidence we had earlier in the season. We need to have more fun. We are lacking two things, that is having fun and having a little bit of swag right now. We are not playing with the same atmosphere, pride and fun as we did early on in the season when we were playing some good ball.’ Of course, that’s a chicken or egg thing, isn’t it? ‘I think playing a high level will help,’ James said. ‘Fun can be taken out of character at times. You can say a team is having too much fun when you are winning, that these guys are not serious about the game. I really don’t believe in that for me, personally. That’s how I play the game of basketball. I have a lot of fun with it. It has helped me get to the point where I am today as a professional athlete. I don’t think I have brought that to the team thus far.’ Later, he added: ‘We are not having fun at all.’”

    I don’t understand the people who don’t understand the people who like to see MIA fail. People love it when the Dallases of the world decorate their locker rooms or schedule the victory parade route and then end up failing at the last minute. These dudes had their parade before the season even started! They’re the most bandwagonest team in a loooooong time so they’re def gonna have the most haters too.

    The pressure will continue to build with each loss Miami suffers. Those guys wanted to form a “superteam” and thought that if all they did was show up, they would win. Look at the players facial expression and body language…they don’t look happy at all…the pressure is starting to get to them.

    All I am going to say is thank GOD that it`s not LeBron that`s playing bad right now,because everyone would be killing him.If he was performing like D-Wade has been performing all you guys would be killing him,but I don`t hear anyone saying anything about the way Wade has been playing this season.He has been average at best,so if it`s his team like everyonesays it is then he need to start playing like it.

    Is there anybody who doesn’t believe they are going to make the playoffs? It’s way to early for any of them to panic. Bosh is playing better, Bron is still Bron and Wade will come around. I’m sure they are still taking the season in stride and trying to learn how to play with each other. As long as they don’t lose to Cleveland next week, then LeBron won’t go off on his teammates. If the Cavs do beat them – watch out.

    Pat Riley needs the “gel” for his hair with the way the Miami Bust is playing.

    Miami Colds will not gel because:

    1. stagnant offense because of LeQuit’s holding the ball for 18 seconds;
    2. wade’s inability to score off the ball, he must have the ball to be in a position to score;
    3. bosh is bosh, soft, lazy and primadonna just like the King with No Ring;
    4. the bench feel that they are not part of the team;
    5. the coach is afraid to impose discipline on and off the court;
    6. the fans are bandwagoners, waiting first for their team to have winning ways; and
    7. The Chosen by Himself = LeBrick does not have the winning drive that infected his teammates, he just want to sell his shoes and market his brand;
    8. the role players are not fitting;
    9. there is only one predictable system, that is, give the ball to LeQueer and let him do his crab dribble thing;
    10. LeBron cant take the media pressure;
    11. Wade cant handle people’s exptectations; and
    12. Bosh cant compete with NBA’s prime big men.

    But, I think Miami Big Three’s prediction that they would win not one, two or three but eight championships will happen, in NBA 2k11. I already got two championships in my PSP the other day, playing LeQuit as center. hahahahhahah

    how to have fun in miami, a guide for lebron :

    1. create a wrestling like entrance with smoke and each of the big three own’s theme music.

    2. throw powder up in the air before every home game.

    3. take fake pictures with fake camera.

    4. dance off with your team mates, everytime your team is winning.

    5. make a youtube video with chris bosh, begging people to vote bosh to the allstar game.

    6. when you fail to get the W for your team, make sure you pad your stats, so everyone can blame your teammates instead.

    7. get your coach fired.

    8. rinse and repeat.
