Polladaday: New Win Record?

Over the summer, many believed the Heat could take a run at the ’95-96 Chicago Bulls’ regular season win record of 72 victories. But with the Lakers playing so well, now some are starting to wonder if they have a chance of making history. Do they?

Can the Lakers win 73 games?

Lakers will tease everyone, just letting the world know. But LA is about championship.

trust that kobe will find a way to shoot his team out of no less than 5 games this season, so NO.

i love how its been what like 8 games and ur saying this. i could see this being a poll question after like 30 games if they only lost 2 or 3 games, but its been 8 games. i mean, new orleans is still undefeated. they may get 70 at most but id say around low to mid 60s

Too early but since the “mighty West” is so mediocre these days and the Lake Show being so deep, it’s possible. Also, the Lakers care more about 3 rings than 73 games, so probably not.

It’s all about being healthy and adapting to Bynum when he returns.

They certainly can, but Phil doesn’t care much for the regular season when it comes to the Lakers. Also, Kobe will probably have some rest before the playoffs, as well as some of their other guys. They are the oldest team in the league after all.

I knew JTaylor/bruceblitz would be here saying Kobe will ruin their chances. He’s their got damn leader! And I don’t think they really care about that, unless they win 70 games with 3 games left to play.

Only if the Lakers get the great Andrew Bynum back healthy, because he is vital to the Lakers chances of winning 73 games. rofl
