Post Up: Lakers Fall Again

Suns drop 22 threes in win. Yeah, 22.

by Adam Figman | @afigman

Detroit 100, Sacramento 94

Two straight road wins for the Pistons? Sure, why not. In yesterday’s early game, they took down a Kings squad that’s dropped five straight and isn’t looking too hot these days. Detroit was led by Rodney Stuckey, who scored 17 and dished 9, though the team’s 53.9 percent shooting was ultimately the difference. Tyreke Evans dropped 20 for Sacto, who’ll look to pick up a much-needed W Wednesday against New York.

Atlanta 111, Minnesota 105

The Hawks finally ended that four-game losing streak, taking down the TWolves, who had won two straight and, you know, were bound to lose eventually. Both Al Horford (28 and 10) and Josh Smith (23 and 10) put up double-doubles for ATL in the victory. For Minny, the surging Michael Beasley scored 25 and Kevin Love followed up his 31-31 night with 22 and 17. For what it’s worth, they won’t win a lot, but Minnesota—with a host of beastly performances from Love, a much-improved Beasley, and a few developing young’ns (Wesley JohnsonLazar Hayward )—is turning into a relatively fun to watch group. This is a good thing, I think.

San Antonio 117, Oklahoma City 104

Led by Matt Bonner’s 21 points and 7 three-pointers, the San Antonio Spu—wait, what? So, apparently that happened. And behind the Red Rocket’s 7 treys and Tony Parker’s team-high 24 points, the Spurs defeated the Thunder. San Antonio has that Portland thing where its scoring is always spread out, making it difficult to pinpoint exactly how it won, and last night was a good example of that. Four Spurs finished in double figures and DeJuan Blair went for 9 and 11, as San Antonio moved to 8-1 and continues to hold down the third-best-in-the-West spot.

Phoenix 121, L.A. Lakers 116

The Suns drained 22—yep, 22—threes, a team record and the second most in NBA history, and handed L.A. its second loss of the season in last night’s late game. Phoenix’s top performers: Jason Richardson had 35 points, 8 boards and 7 threes; Steve Nash scored 21 and distribute 13 assists; and Hedo Turkoglu dropped 17 and hit a huge triple in the final minute that sealed this one. Pau Gasol’s 28 and 17 performance was impressive, but not enough. Worth noting is that Alvin Gentry’s squad is still utilizing the D’Antoni All-Three-Everything system, and, apparently, it works sometimes. Which brings us to…

Houston 104, New York 96

And it keeps getting worse on Broadway, as the Rockets took down the Knicks and sent them to 3-7. Kevin Martin scored 28 and Luis Scola had 24 for Houston, who was down one in the middle of the third but took off between then and the mid-fourth. Amar’e Stoudemire led NY with 25, but 3 threes won’t cut it in this offense. Speaking of:

Quick Knicks-related tangent before I sign out. A prediction: Beginning today, and continuing after each and every NYK loss on their upcoming four-game road trip (eek) and beyond, an undertone (or overtone) of “Fire D’Antoni” will come blowing in via the New York media. It happens. But still, is it deserved? Let’s take a look.

1. A solid portion of the “Knicks are relevant again!” coverage from the summer was based on the assumptions that A: Players with big potential (Anthony RandolphTimofey Mozgov) could be good, and B: Young players (Danilo GallinariWilson ChandlerToney Douglas) would get a little (or a lot) better. A’s been a bust, thus far, and B has only taken place in small amounts and in small spurts. At best. Coach’s fault? Honestly, I don’t know. You tell me.

2. After the front office all but admitted that the first two post-Isiah years were a wash as the roster was gutted and rebuilt, this season is really Mike D’s first official opportunity to do some positive things (read: make the Playoffs) with the team. Which, through 10 contests, hasn’t happened. But if the front office is going to put the starting line during the summer of 2010, then is 10 games into ’10-11 the right place to stop and evaluate whether or not the coach is doing a quality job? I’m going with no. I don’t even know if 20 or 30 is enough time.

This I do know: There’s a defensive-minded former Knicks coach from the 90s who everyone would love to see take over, and I can think of a certain ex-NYK point guard (and current ESPN analyst) who I’m guessing one SLAM Ed. will have in mind for the job. But let’s give these guys a minute or two to figure some stuff out before we collectively freak out. After that? Yeah, go for it. Freak out. It might even be kinda fun. But can we chill with all the overreacting for a while, media dudes?

(All of that said, losses to Minny and Houston aren’t acceptable. They should be better. So stay tuned. Or something.)

Performance of the Night: JRich: 35 points, 8 boards, 7 treys, 3 steals.
Moment of the Night: “Yo Serge, throw this down! Ugh, bad pass. My fau…Oh. Never mind.”

First off, that phoenix game was down right anomalous. Kobe had a great game, aside from the 8 turns, but when you get destoyed by a 39 (!!!) point margin from beyond the arc, man you just gotta laugh. Props to suns though, a number of those threes were well contested but they kept dropping. And thanks for the “Exhibit A as to why Jeff Green isn’t getting extended” video, I love me some serge.

  • http://Slamonline.com Mvp23100

Was J-Rich getting in Toby like that or did they hide em and let Artest get molested

  • Sizzle

The are grumblings eminating from the Lakers locker room that there is a lack of chemistry. Shannon Brown wants the ball more, Pau wants his buddy Bynum back and Kobe is starting to question Phil. Will this team “gel” in time to win a third title in a row. Only time will tell (insert sarcasm here)

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Wow, the Lakers suck. Kobe goes for all those big numbers and he still can’t get them a win….what a fuc*king loser. What’s the matter, Mambit*h, can’t figure out a way to close out a rival? Pau is the only player on that team worth a sh*t. Kobe’s a choke artist and it’s all starting to become clearer each game. Dude is on the DEEEEECLINEEEE! HA HA HA HA!!!

  • http://slamonline.com Krishan

That cannot possibly be the real eboy

  • KB8toSG8

@Eboy……I hope you’re being sarcastic coz we know who the stats guy is……and regarding the game, the Suns were red hot form 3pt line. They can’t hope to do that night in night out.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

You would think I was being sarcastic, wouldn’t you? It seems that the Mambit*h is getting a little nervous seeing Pau outperform him at the start of the season and now he’s trying to be a stat stuffer. It’s not hard to see…unless you’re an ignorant Laker fan.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Oh, yes it can, Krishan. This will be my routine the rest of the year. I’ll monitor the ignorance of the rest of the SLAM posting community after a Heat loss, take mental notes and apply the same stupidity for each loss the Lakers take. It’s pretty simple actually.

  • reflex

lmao at Eboy trying to draw similarities with the b2b champs to his joke of a squads. Keep trying dude.

On an aside, what the ish is this about – http://www.nba.com/heat/photos/600_fanup_generic_page_1_101015.jpg – Can’t sell seats even with the superfriends in town? And yet seattle can’t get a team?! smh..

  • http://slamonline.com Krishan

Haha go ahead good sir, that would actually be hilarious

  • http://blog.mysanantonio.com/spursnation/ Anthony

The Spurs are starting to play really good on both end of the court. It kills me that nobody talks about TP has one of the best PG in the league, he gave Westbrook the business last night. Durant had his season-low 23pts, thanks to Richard Jefferson and overall good team defense. Chicago and Utah are coming next so it will be a good test for us.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

You know, to be serious for a moment, perhaps the West isn’t as wide open as we thought it would be. The Spurs and the Jazz really have their sh*t together and if both of them stay healthy, well, the playoffs may be more than just a practice run for the champs.

  • http://www.twitter.com/hurstysyd Hursty

Question – what’s the difference between Raymond Felton and Jameer Nelson? Is there a large difference in their play? I’ve always felt they could be interchangeable.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

And that’s not including them boys in New Orleans.

  • http://Www.fiba.com Darksaber

TP is averaging 8 assists (best average of his career so far)? Seems the Spurs have point converters coming out the wazoo. The big red (Bonner) hit 7/7 three’s!! And all this with Duncan scoring in single figures since last week. Dangerous team, and they’ll only gel more as time passes.
    @E: it’s spelt Mambiatch. Hehehe.

  • MUBWAR

After a little rough time in Heat land, nothing makes me feel better then Kobe being outperformed. How did you let Richardson with all those wide open shots. If Lakers can go back to Finals, it will be all of the reasons we need to put Pau ahead of him.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

Sorry Dark….it’s been a while since I’ve thought about the ballhog rapist.

  • Sparker

every year, new york sports writers want so badly to believe that the knicks don’t suck. it’s kind of cute.

  • http://sdjfklf.com Jukai

Is Tarzan here? I just wanted to point out that Nash is now averaging 20 points and 9.9 assists, and is drastically lowering his turnovers every game (he had thirteen assists and zero friggin turnovers yesterday!!!).
You were so quick to point out that Nash was barely averaging 7 assists and was clearly hurting from the lack of Stoudemire— after three games. So, after nine games, can I point out how Nash is averaging pretty much 20-10, while STAT (who is STILL MY BOY and is showing off his way better handle than I thought) is only doing 21 on 45% shooting?
Is it too soon to point out Hakim Warrick is putting up twelve points on friggin 61% shooting?
    Just asking, Tarzan!

  • http://sdjfklf.com Jukai

Eboy: Tone it down a smidge, thanks

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

    Not happening.

  • http://sdjfklf.com Jukai

    Well, can’t say I didn’t try.

  • http://www.google.com/news BETCATS

Eboy I hate Kobe just as much as you but even I cant call him a loser/quiter. Until he gives up on his team in the playoffs you cant call him that either. While in the purgatory between the Shaq trade and the Gasol trade Kobe got testiy and acted like a jerk to certain teammates, he never ‘quit’ on his team in the sense of not preforming well on the basketball court. He gunned like their was no tommorow but that was because he was trying to help his team win. He never complained about playing too many minutes. He didnt have a 1 hour special to decide if he would force a trade. Dont get me wrong he’s still a b!tch just not a quiting/losing b!tch.

  • http://Www.fiba.com Darksaber

Jukai: beating down the “Nash is a system player, He needed STAT and not vice versa” crowd. Nice.

  • http://www.sweetnsalt.net LexaB

@Eboy. I don’t comment a lot on here (did it a few years ago but usually don’t have the time anymore)and I always liked your insight on the game and your passion for the Heat. I don’t despise LeBron, not at all, and I’m looking forward to them Big Three playing at their full potential and beastin’ on opponents like they can and should. But one question, very quickly. Do you REALLY believe that Lakers’ (not a fan, at all, I’m a Knicks man… yeah, I know, it’s sad) loss last night with 22 ‘effin 3-pointers – 22, I mean… 22 ! – is as worrying as some Heat’s losses we’ve seen so far this season ? I mean, if you’re gonna apply the same stupidity for the Lakers as people who bash the Heat for every loss, and I would be happy to read that sh*t every time, do it when it’s really relevant. Like your knowledge of the game but man… 22 ‘effin 3-pointers !! Even you can acknowledge Kobe, Lebron or even MJ couldn’t have done much against those gunnin’ Suns.

Oh and before leaving, a quick question to everyone. There’s something I’ve wanted to askfor a very very very long time on this site. Do we always have to be LeBron-fan/Kobe-hater or the opposite ? Can’t we just appreciate the beauty of the two best b-ballers the NBA had (and has) to offer for quite a few years now ? Can’t we juste, like me, like LeBron’s game AND Kobe’s game ? That seems an impossible feat around here… Maybe that’s just called being a b-ball junkie. Not a bandwagonner that just appreciates HIS player being the best…

Holla at everyone. I’m out like Amar’e's optimism.

  • http://Slamonline.com Mvp23100

    @Hursty
You didn’t see how Jameer did Felton in the playoffs last year I was embarrassed for him Jameer is much better

  • IAMORANGE4EVER

The Knicks are clearly a work in progress this season, and they still can become a good team during the marathon that is an 82 game NBA season. It will take a lot of work and some players getting mentally strong and others getting healthy. Make no mistake though, I’m very disappointed how the season has started thus far. They’ve been in a lot of those games they’ve lost too…smh

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

You cats must only revise history to suit your stupidity. Perhaps ya’ll should Youtube….Lakers/Suns 2005 and then talk about Kobe not quiting on his team.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Eboy

LexaB, quit simply, no, there is a teeny tiny percentage of people who appreciate both Bron and Kone’s game. That percentage is even more tiny on this site. That is fact.

  • Sparker

remember those “chris duhon is just as good as nash” posts? i do.

  • Gman

Kobe gives up in a different manner.
He tries to stuff stats while ignoring teammates. And you can see they see their *F U Kobe* body language.

  • T-Money

Pau Gasol is a beast. Seriously, the fundamentals are just off the chart. He should touch the rock on every single trip down the floor. Of course, we all know that will not happen. What’s going on with Shannon Brown? The shots are going in for now but I’m not sure Phil will give him this freedom in the playoffs, he tends to stay glued to the bench the deeper LA gets. I’d like to see his shots/minute stats. / Props to J-Rich. The guy had no discernable skill besides jumping high at MSU and he worked his a– off. He’s an excellent three point shooter. The handle is still suspect but way better than it was back then. (I don’t think he took three bounces in a row at MSU)

  • http://sdjfklf.com Jukai

Sparker, I remember those too. Good times.

Eboy, thanks for your answer. That’s what I thought… And that’s indeed fact. And I don’t think that’s a good thing for SLAM, who focused on the love of the game, and not the hate, since its debut back in the ’90s. (have every issue since #12).

BTW, now that I’m here, a question for all of you guys. Do you believe the Spurs are for real this season ? I mean, we know them, know what they bring to the table, but if everyone keeps being healthy on that roster I think they can be in for a big surprise come spring time. Everyone knows what they have to do on that team and I think they can beat anyone in the L on any given night. Enough to beat the Lake-Show, the Jazz or the Hornets in playoffs ? More than possible. Your thoughts on that guys ? It would be so beautiful to see my men TP and Manu, plus my favorite robot TD, make Myles (no hate there, I appreciate your writing man) swallow his “See you in June, b*tches” from the Lakers’s season preview ? I really believe a lot of people just assumed the Lakers would drive directly to the Finals and that’s just disrespectful to the game. You gotta play those series before braggin’. If the Thunder could push last year Lakers on the first round, who’s to say San Antonio or Utah couldn’t finish the job if they play their best ?

  • http://yahoo.com eboyhater

Eboy i like Kobe and Lebron both are future hall of famers and both are one of the most hated athletes in the world today.

  • http://yahoo.com eboyhater

Eboy im a laker fan and i do admit that Kobe tries to force shots when the game is on the line when against the suns when he could of passed it to a hot handed brown but took it all to himself to bring them back but the lakers are still the team to beat in the west call it ignorance whatever but when in the playoffs are you really gonna shoot 40 threes cmon man.

  • http://yahoo.com eboyhater

Eboy im a Laker fan and I do agree that Kobe tries to force shots when the game is on the line like against the suns when he could have just passes it to a hot handed brown but do you really think when in the finals or playoffs is a team really going to shoot 40 threes.

  • whoooo!

Eboy dude, i can totally understand you protecting your favorite team at unfair judgements like others, but nobody was out calling YOU ‘stupid’ or otherwise. don’t turn the Slam boards into a child-like youtube free-for-all man. everyone’s respected your comments and insight in the past. the haters will shutup if you guys win it all.

  • http://www.slamonline.com jumpman3224

Didn’t he drop 14 dimes last night? Isn’t that one stat that is somewhat team oriented to stuff?

  • http://yahoo.com eboyhater

Eboy im a Kobe fan because of what he can do and what he has done as a basketball player. I do not no why you hate him so much I know at a time he was a b*tch but he was still a great basketball player even tough his personality was horrible please can you tell everyone why you hate him

  • http://www.sweetnsalt.net LexaB

Man… SLAM posted my second comment AFTER my first. WordPress is turning this thread into a total nonsense.

So I’ll just repost that second comment. No spamming guys, just making sure it can be seen. Here we go :

Eboy, thanks for your answer. That’s what I thought… And that’s indeed fact. • jahmai

@Eboy, I like Kobe and Bron and I think there are more people who like them both, alot of people just think that if they support player A they have to bash player B. I’ll bet people will miss Kobe when he retires and people will start riding LeBron again when he gets some rings.

  • JTaylor21

Damn, what happended to the “closer”? Dude threw up 2 airballs in crunch-time and must have had flashbacks of that utah series. The so-called best player chucks up two airballs in crunch-time and no one calls him out. Great, kobefanatics keep turning a blind eye to your lover’s ball-hogging tendencies. PGasol is the one that should be taking 20+ shots not Mr. Stat Padder.

  • jahmai

LeBron threw up a airball and a 3 pointer that hit the side of the rim against boston in crunch time, so I guess they’re even.

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 Jackie Moon

LeB**ch has led his team to 4 losses! His Quitness! The Heat will be a lottery team! Book it! Seriously, though, I’ll monitor the ignorance of the rest of the SLAM posting community after a Lakers loss, take mental notes and apply the same stupidity for each loss the Heat take. It’s pretty simple actually.

Laker fans are used to imitation……thanks for keeping my idea fresh, Jackie!

  • http://slamonline.com tina

I’d like to see what this site would look like if both the Lakers & the Heats don’t make the playoffs.

  • http://www.nobulljive.com Enigmatic

Count me as one of the teeny tiny percentage of people who like and appreciate both Kobe and LeBron. I’m too young to really remember the Bird/Magic days (was born in ’84) but I wonder if back then fans of Magic were so venemous towards Bird and his fans and vice versa. I get a kick out of reading the comments from both sides on here, but some of the reasons why y’all despise this guy or that guy are just stupid. Especially those of y’all who take every little thing they do personally, like they disrespected YOU specifically. I don’t think Kobe/LeBron even know you exist so why even give a sh*t that he (insert perceived slight here)?? I say just enjoy both their games and appreciate their talents, but like they say, haters gonna hate, I guess.

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 Jackie Moon

@eboy – just like Kobe I imitate the best!

  • http://www.twitter.com/TheDiesel Anton

More beef in here than a slaughterhouse. And Matt Bonner’s shot looks like he’s taunting other players with bad form.

  • jk light

I also like and appreciate both Kobe and Lebron. I think there are a lot more on this website but with all in life, it is always easier to criticize and talk bad about someone than to say something good.
Also most of the time, people who think clearly and objective don’t feel the need to react to the stuff people post here.
Some try but it is like fighting windmills.

  • jk light

Most of the time I just scroll through the comments kooking for names that In know post intelligent and funny like AllenP, Darksaber for example. I also like to read Jukai’s comments, James the Balla and some more. Then I stop on the controversial ones just to see what they come up with this time like Myles Brown and Eboy (and Ryan Jones some time ago) who clearly have knowledge but are sometimes way too biased in their opinions. I always liked to read Spanny’s comments for fun to see what he comes up with this time to annoy all the commenters.
And then there are commenters like the Seed or jtaylor where I just scroll over because it is even more a waste of time.

  • jk light

However I really miss reading stuff from Russ Bengtson here and by the way I should really double check my spelling before submitting the comments.

The spurs are for real, they will win the title this year. …… Kobe is becoming aware that pau is the main option now, the ball has to go thru him every time. This will be even more apparent next season(uh if there is one). Nash has def been playing well recently, lets see if it continues all year. And every time I see hakims stats, theyre lower than before. Give it up on that one cuz.

  • http://bulls.com airs

matt bonner is the “red rocket”? haha what a horrible nickname

  • http://bulls.com airs

oh and while @jukai is defending his point guard to @Tarzan, might i just say that d.rose is averaging 23 and 9.5 this season.

    ahem.

  • http://blog.mysanantonio.com/spursnation/ Anthony

Chris Paul is 17 and 10 but he’s been the MVP so far,so what’s your point airs ?

  • http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/olybb/news/story?id=5493184 Jackie Moon

@Taran “The spurs are for real, they will win the title this year” … should I book that?

  • wall-e

@ Airs the reason Matt Bonners nickname is the RED ROCKET is because that is also the nickname of the Toronto Transit System, and while living in Toronto, Bonner didn’t own a car and would take the bus and metro everywhere. He was a very down to earth nba player, not some uneducated, stuck up millionnaire who believed that they were better than everyone else.

I agree, that it may not be the best nickname in the world but its far better than all the other unoriginal and dumb nicknames such as cp3, cb4, mamba, d12, etc, and there is actually a meaning behind it.

  • wall-e

@ Airs, I think you also forgot to mention that Rose is averaging, 44% shooting, 24% from three, and 4.1 turnovers a game.

  • http://www.need4sheed.com Tarzan Cooper

Go ahead jackie. Its known im a spurs fan. They look great this year.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Why is losing to Houston unacceptable? Don’t let the record fool you.

  • http://sdjfklf.com Jukai

@Tarzan: Thanks for the props on the player instead of outrightly bashing him. It’s a refreshing change. I don’t expect Hakim to keep up the +60% shooting because the Phoenix staff is pushing him to create some offense of his own (which is scary) but ya can’t say it’s getting lower and lower, he just put up 18 and 16 two/three games ago.
and the Spurs are looking good— I wont say I see championship yet, but I am fully aware that Duncan’s pedestrian stats are more to do with saving himself for the playoffs and if the team plays the same with an out-of-control Duncan, f it, they have as much of a chance to make it out of the West as anyone.
I still don’t believe the Hornets are fer real. They are the Cavaliers of the west right now. Paul will make a run but I don’t see them in the Finals. Of course, Paul in my mind has been the best (if healthy) point guard in the league and I’m more than ampt for him to prove me wrong.

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Also, of course D’Antoni should be blamed, at least partly for the horrendous past few years of Knicks basketball. Management as well. Toney Douglas, Wilson Chandler, and Amare Stoudemire should be the 3 pieces the team is built around–yet, Raymond Felton was named co-captain. Douglas sees floor time erratically and Chandler loses out his starting spot to Landry Fields (although he does get significantly more playing time than Fields, which is acceptable). The Knicks need to stop talking about whatever possible free agents they can land and start working with what they’ve got NOW. NOBODY WANTS TO PLAY IN NEW YORK IF THE TEAM STINKS.

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

Just wanted to point out this isn’t twitter, you don’t have to put an @ symbol infront of peoples names. And as I have been saying all along, Hakim will average 14 and 6. Which is a ton better then the 11 and 4 he is really worth.

  • tRay

^^ couldn’t agree more. The Spurs will be right up there as one of the best in the West. As for the Hornets I’m not ready yet to call them contenders either. Of the subject I think every Laker fan should just chill and accept defeat. They’re not unbeatable they will bounce back and be more focused. As a Laker fan myself even i know the big bad Lakers will be OK. And the Kobe and LeBron hate on this website is f*cking ridiculous. I mean really do you people really care about these players that much that your willing to down right hate their guts?! Lets just stick to BASKETBALL talk here. They’re both great players and they both have flaws in their game and they play complete different styles of ball so it’s hard to compare each other. Bottom line they are the best in our league PERIOD. NOW BOOK THAT SH*T!

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

nbk, we’ve been putting @ symbols in front of peoples names before Twitter even existed. Twitter bit SLAM!

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Aw man, should have went *@nbk*

  • http://slamonline.com nbk

Teddy I am aware of how we normally talk. But I was referring to people putting @ even when they aren’t literally directing their comment @ someone.

  • http://www.need4sheed.com Tarzan Cooper

Yea, the hornets arent for real. knicks have problems. And ive always liked warrick, but a certain somebody said he would be a near allstar, and thats not happening. He will play nicely off nash, but hes just too inconsistent. And with robin, hedo, frye, grant, and dudley, hakim just wont get big minutes.

@Tarzan it’s so early to hand down the title to Spurs but haven’t you watched Boston lately? I know Lakers will get their act together so you and the Spurs gotta beat the team of the West before you see us (Boston) in the Finals.

I’ve been hating KB since he came in2 d NBA (don’t remember exactly why, he’s a great player but I just don’t like him and he copied Jordan so much that 2 me he’s always looked like a sort of clone, a phoney…)
I didn’t care much about LBJ until last summer, all I’ve noticed is how unselfish a player he is, and he seemed like a cool guy 2. This summer I rooted 4 him bcuz most people where hating (except JT21, Philo & some few others) but over all, I think he’s overhyped.
So basically, I’m kind of a Bean & Raymone hater, but I usually don’t post negative comments on either of them, bcuz I believe it’s sad and useless 2 write negativity on people who don’t know u exist, it’s just a game.
But I love Paul Pierce, RWestbrook, Lamar Odom (his game, hate his team), Ray Allen, NOAH, IBAKA, MBAH A MOUTE…
    And I miss RASHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED!!!

Pau Gasol should now officially be the man in the Lakers squad. Or at least until Kobe’s knee or arthritic finger or whatever ailment he has gets better.
