Andrew Bynum Felt ‘Twinge’ in His Knee

Following his best game so far this season on Sunday, the Laker big reported knee pain but claims that it’s nothing to worry about. From the LA Times: “Actually, my knee is a little bit sore today,” Bynum said. “I kind of felt a little bit of a twinge when I double jumped when I missed the layup and I went back up with the rebound. But it will be all right. There is no swelling. I’ll just ice it all the way home and it should be good.’ Bynum, who had successful arthroscopic surgery for a torn cartilage in his right knee, said he wasn’t nervous about the pain in his knee. ‘I have to live with it,” Bynum said. “It’s not going to change. So, there’s nothing to be nervous about now. You just have to expect that that’s going to happen. But I can’t wait to start working with my trainer when we get back home so I can get a little bit of my explosion back. I feel like I can’t really jump right now…As of right now, I feel like I’m kind of glued to the floor.’”

This is probably the only aspect of his game that will be compared to Yao Ming, the injuries.

  • Da bear

No big deal. He never could jump anyway…

  • Bruno

  • underdog

(A loud cheer at Boston camp) I’m a Bron man but i know the lakers are their only decent threat for the title this season. WERE their only decent threat.

Tic Toc Tic Toc thats the sound of Bynum’s annual injury clock ticking.

  • ClydeSays

Don’t understand why Phil would tweak him through the press to rush him back. What’s the point? You don’t hear Doc wanted to rush Perk back, even though he’s got 3 injured bigs…

When healthy, he is a 18-20 pt / 10 reb guy with nice explosion for a guy his size and a defensive presence.

In other news, Kobe felt a “twinge” in all 10 of his fingers, 8 of his toes, his shooting hand, both knees, and his left ankle. And kept playing.

La fans keep saying hes a 20 10 guy, but wheres the evidence? This is a perfect example of whats wrong with the nba: guys get credit before they do things. Its backwards.

Man This whole Bynum ordeal is driving me crazy wish he would stay healthy and not go down the same road as oden n yao
