Polladaday: Magic Panic?

Orlando has now lost three games in a row, and didn’t look strong at all last night against the Portland Trail Blazers. Should fans be worried?

Are the Magic in serious trouble?

    Not sure why so many think the Magic will be fine, they need another piece or a new offensive scheme. Surrounding Dwight with the current players is the recipe to get bounced in the playoffs again. They no longer have the ideal pick and roll player (Hedo) and Vince is getting old. 2nd round or ECF loss this year..

    They are fine when Jameer is slashing to the rim, hitting the mid range jumper, and basically orchestrating the offense. However, this only happens like every other game…trade Vince for Gil.

    @Caboose that actually wouldn’t be a bad fit for Gil and Orlando. No one wants that disgraceful contract though.

    Haha Sizzle, the Magic seem to be collectors of bad contracts given Rashard, Duhon, Gortat, and Redick.

    They would be suited in packaging some deal for Melo or CP. Whole Roster should be open except for D12. I am sure they could get some type of Value for Rashard/VC/Gortat. The question is how much is too much. Imagine Paul/D12 or Melo/D12.

    Vince, Rashard, Gortat, Bass and the 2011 First Round pick for Melo, Martin, JR and Anderson. Magis have a starting lineup of Jameer, JR, Melo, Martin, and Dwight and the Nuggs have a starting lineup of Billups, Vince, Rashard, Bass, and Gortat. Not bad?

    Stayweird, since you clearly aren’t in tune with basketball in Amy way, let me explain that Melo is leaving the Nuggets during the next free agency. Therefore, the Nuggets would want to get something for him rather than nothing. Gortat and Bass are solid young players and Vince is a huge expiring contract. It’s not just for talent level so do research before talking about things you don’t know.
