Tyreke Evans May Miss Games Due to Plantar Fasciitis

Strangely, the only info about Tyreke‘s condition is coming from his brother’s Twitter feed since he hasn’t informed the team if he’ll join them on their upcoming road trip or not. The Sac Bee reports: “The Kings are waiting to hear if Tyreke Evans plans to play during their three-game road trip that begins Tuesday in Houston because of plantar fasciitis in his left foot. One of Evans’ older brothers, Julius, announced Sunday via Twitter that Evans will miss time because of the injury: ‘Just got done having a talk wit my brother @thetyrekeevans. It’s done! He’s out for a while.’ A phone call to Evans was not returned, but a text message from Evans’ brother, Julius, said Evans would not leave Sacramento with the team today. Kings basketball president Geoff Petrie said no decision had been made because the team hadn’t heard from Evans. ‘Whatever needs to be done needs to be done in the best fashion possible,’ Petrie said. ‘We’ll see what (this) morning brings. It really comes down to if the player says he can’t go.'”
