Brandon Roy Considering Arthroscopic Knee Surgery?

No decisions have been made yet, but according to the Portland Tribune, Roy and the Blazers are considering the procedure to see if it can help alleviate the grinding knee pain: “Roy and team officials flew to the Bay Area last Thursday to meet with Dr. Brian Cole, the team doctor of the Chicago Bulls and one of the world’s foremost experts on articular cartilage repair. Cole is of the opinion that meniscus transplant surgery on Roy, who has had a pair of lateral meniscus operations and is at the bone-on-bone stage with the left knee, is not an option. Cole offered the possibility that an arthroscopic procedure, however, might relieve some of the pain.”

Bravo, how is this situation in anyway “lmao” worthy. Sad to see the career of someone who could have been one of the most elite players in the game get derailed by injuries. Hopefully they sit him down for the rest of this year and he comes back alot healthier. I dont know much about these surgeries but I hope he stops trying to do these quick fixes only to re-injure himself a couple of weeks later. Get him the right procedure so he can play again the way he was supposed to play.

It’s sad cause he was going to be a great player. But I have said it in every Brandon Roy post….he’s done.

It is such a terrible thing. I just dont understand how can people rejoice when they hear something this bad. I am not a portland fan, but i am really sad to hear any person gets sick or injured. To be honest i would look further, check doctors in germany and japan, even uk, they been tampering with stem cells for a long time, i just hope there is a possibility of tissue transplant. Get well broy . :P

Bravo rooted for the mutaba virus when he saw the movie Outbreak. He also cursed when Andy escaped from Shawshank. What a horrible reaction to a very elite NBA player player being sidelined.
