Chauncey Billups: Rip Hamilton Being Disrespected

Billups came to the defense of his friend and former teammate, and thinks the toxic situation in Detroit is a show of blatant disrespect to Hamilton. From the Free Press: “Billups has talked to Hamilton, who wasn’t at the Palace because he was home with the flu, and has told him to be professional. But Billups added that he feels Hamilton is being wronged. ‘He’s dealing with blatant disrespect, and I don’t think that guys like Rip, (Tayshaun Prince) and (Ben Wallace) should be treated like that, especially for this team where they did so much,’ Billups said. He added: ‘He’s Pistons royalty. He’s one of the greats, and his jersey is going up in those rafters, so he doesn’t deserve to be disrespected like this.’”

Chauncey is the truth… if the Nuggets trade him in a Melo deal they deserve to suck for many years to come.
