Jason Williams: No Longer With the Magic

Whit Eboy has mysteriously left the Orlando Magic, and the team isn’t giving a reason for his sudden departure: “Jason Williams has left the team. Magic President of Basketball Operations Otis Smith said that the matter would be dealt with when the team returns from its road trip. Malik Allen will be activated tonight when Orlando visits the Indiana Pacers at 7 p.m. ET.”

Buddy got di*ked around in Orlando. Hopefully he gets a buy out and can go to another contender to get some minutes. He’s probably better than Arroyo and Chalmers, and his lob ratio would be ridiculous with Wade on Bron on the wings. It could be 2001 all over again!!!! Plus he could knock down threes. Pat would be silly to at least not give him an audition. Otherwise, I could see him in a spot like Boston as a third point to go with Lil Nate and Rondo.

Can that Lifetime show come back. I know, I know, this is the first time in SLAM history that someone asked for a Lifetime show to come back, but seriously a special edition of Unsolved Mysteries on the NBA would be riveting.

Not better than Rio, that’s for sure. I don’t really care for Jason Williams at this point in his career.

Lmao & cosign Fruizm! It started for me about 3 years ago that good players I knew about as rookies started retiring & disappearing in large #’s.

He was just waived by the Magic. I’m sorry, but his temper really hurt the Magic this season. He got ejected from a game in under 45 seconds. That’s higher than Sheed levels.

Otis thought Jason acted tough. That’s why he had to go.

    Comeon riley, pick him up!

Totally agree Grovee. As a Magic fan I’d honestly much rather have kept J-Will over Duhon all day.
