Lil Wayne Is Mad at LeBron James and Dwyane Wade

Weezy hilariously complains to Rolling Stone that LBJ and DWade never show him any love when he attends their games (despite all the money he spends on tickets.): “When Wayne sat court-side at a recent Miami Heat/New Orleans Hornets game he was upset that Lebron James and Dwayne Wade never came over to talk to him. ‘Them ni**as never speak to a ni**a,’ he says. ‘They don’t chuck me the deuce or nothing. Ni**a spent all that money on them fuc*ing tickets … Come holla at me. We sit right by them little bitch-ass ni**as. At least come ask me why I’m not rooting for you.’”

    Shout out to Redman.

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

Jay-Z has a better catalogue of music than Wayne, no doubt. But Weezy passed Jay as the best rapper in the game a long time ago.
And I’m not really a fan of either anymore and I was a much bigger an of Jay than Wayne.
And Enigmatic, Wayne has been rapping for about as long as Jay has. He’s just blown up more recently.
Wayne has been spitting fire since he was 9 and couldn’t curse on a record until after he turned 18 because that’s the only way his mom would let him sign a deal.

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

^*his mom would sign off on his deal

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

    Wayne is decent.
    I respect Jay.
Nas is the greatest of all times.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Yeah, I know all that Bryan. I remember the old Cash Money, Juvenile “Ha” single days.
But “best rapper in the game” implies that dude could lyrically torch any other rapper out there with a record deal and hell f*cking no, that ain’t happening.
Take away marketing and album sales, and Wayne is a mediocre at best rapper. For real.

Yeezy. “Screams from the haters got a nice ring to it. I guess every superhero needs his theme music.”

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Put the hottest Lil’ Wayne verse you can find from his latest album on here, and I’ll find a verse 10X hotter from at least five other cat’s latest albums. Guaranteed.

  • bbubbs

hater for sure, ballers dont need to kiss ur ass, weezy

  • http://www.nyse.com/ JTaylor21

Well in that case take away Jay’s album sales and huge marketing deal and what is left is nothing but a camel who jacks BIG’s rhymes. Carter 2 is better than any BS hover put out, believe that.

  • http://www.twitter.com/TheDiesel Anton

I’m just glad no one mentioned Drake.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

Better than anything Hov EVER put out? Better than Reasonable Doubt? NO F*CKING WAY.
Jay-Z does bite Biggie a lot, but take away his album sales and marketing, and he’s still a way better lyricist than Wayne could ever hope to be.

  • snasty10

@Enigmatic do you really think american ganster and kingdom come are better albums then the carter 2? in my opinion those albums were garbage BP3 was alright, i was sick of that in a week, im not saying wayne is better then hov but the carter 2 was one sick album, that was wayne in his prime i feel like

  • http://Nba.com GP23

The slim shady lp, marshall mathers lp, eminem show, encore, relapse and recovery were all better albums than waynes or jays. Get the point

  • snasty10

really? encore and relapse were garbage even em said that

  • Luiyo

    NaS The Illmatic & G.O.A.T.!

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

I actually thought Kingdom Come was underrated.
And Carter 2 was aight. But like I said, defferent tastes I guess.
That “I miss my dawgs” from Carter I was dope as hell though. I still bump that when I think about my homies from back home.

  • snasty10

really gp23? cuz encore and relapse were both garbage, em even said that

  • snasty10

i agree with you on differnt tastes for sure, reasonable doubt is still one of my favorites albums of all time, same with with vol.2, but i still couldnt get down on kingdom come and american gangster

  • http://Nba.com GP23

@snasty10 put it this way, eminem is the best rapper in the game today. Even jay, wayne would agree.

  • snasty10

he’s definately top 3 im just saying those 2 albums were garbage

  • snasty10

plus you cant forget the underground like one be lo, brother ali, freeway, talib kweli, so many good mc’s out there

That quote from the drug addict, grown man kissing, fugly midget was pretty funny. I’m sure he meant it in jest. LOL@ anyone reading too far into it. Oh, and the Wayne Jay-Z debate is pointless. Usually silly youngsters prefer Wayne. And Jay is your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper if you’re Wayne stan lol…All jokes aside, music is ALWAYS a matter of personal taste. No way to truly determine who’s best. It’s about who you as an individual prefer to listen to.

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

Dr. Dre’s “Chronic” in my opinion, is the best rap album of all time. A hip hop masterpiece.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

In terms of influencing the genre and having dope beats, The Chronic is a classic.
But I can’t say it’s the best album of all time when Dr. Dre was arguably the worst rapper on the album.

  • http://www.rich-imaging.com Dutch Rich

Uhm Bryan at 1:34 pm. Jay is 13 years older than Lil Wayne. Do you remember Hawaian Sophie. That dude’s been rhymin since the late 80′s. I highly doubt Wayne was spitting at age 6.

  • zoom

The Chronic and Chronic 2001 were both awesome albums.

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

    Shout out to Shyheim.
    Enigmatic:
Agree with Dre being the worst rapper on the album.

  • http://slamonline.com Bryan Crawford

Dutch, Hawaiian Sophie was a feature. That hardly counts as anything commercial.
And if Wayne recorded an album at 9, is it unreasonable to think that he was spitting at 6?
Basically, all I was trying to say is that Jay put out his first commercial album in ’96 and Wayne first appeared commercially in ’97.

  • Yesse

They aren’t prostitutes, Lil Wayne. Besides i don’t think they want to embarras themselves to be seen on camera with one of the worst rappers of all time. I mean, even Vanilla Ice was better.

  • HAMMER

Best album, not 2 mention most underrated,Bone Thugs N Harmony “East 1999 Eternal” n my opinion

  • HAMMER

Best album, not 2 mention the most underrated,Bone Thugs-N-Harmony “East 1999 Eternal”. U can let that sh*t play w/out skipping tracks

I’ve seen Bron show love to DJ Khaled……….

  • HAMMER

Em hasn’t been sh*t since “The Eminem Show”. Even when he was @ his best,1999-2003,he wasn’t the best rapper n the game. Not when Rakim,a better Jigga,Scarface,Nas and LL Cool dropping albums

  • J-MAC

    Nas is the realist…
@Hammer you have a solid point.
    Killer Cam is the coldest.

  • http://www.need4sheed.com Tarzan Cooper

Lol@ phil mentioning chams meeting with jordan, that ish was funny. ……….. K-RINO destroys any rapper ever. Annihilation of the evil machine was by far the best album of 2010. Alien baby will own 2011. ……….

  • http://www.sonicbids.com doyouwantmore

Lil Wayne is a pop-star not an MC.

  • BE.water

    Big Nor Pac are 1 & 2.

Busta Rhymes? Reggie Noble? Mr. MEF? Mos & Talib? Nasir Escobar?

Theres way more talented emcees, they were benefitted through their death with record sales & only afterwards became “Legends”

Wayne doesnt even make my top 50 emcee list.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

I keep hearing bout this K-RINO dude but still ain’t heard him spit.
I’ma have to check him out.
He better not be wack, Tarzan. Lol

  • Adrian Bond

    Lil Wayne?? Wow……

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Death Row has to be the most overrated record label in the history of popular music, let alone hip-hop. The Chronic is not a masterpiece, nor should it ever be considered the “best” of anything outside the limited confines of G-Funk itself.

  • HAMMER

Don’t 4get bout Jeru the Damaja

  • Bruno

for Me Redman & Method Man together are the best

  • http://Philosophervision@blogspot.com The Philosopher

    Teddy:
Ever since “The Chronic”, more hip hop artists at the time started using live music on their albums. Even Jay-Z. Not the synthesizers and scratch tables we have heard.
    Innovation.

  • http://www.need4sheed.com Tarzan Cooper

Enigmatic, you have nothing to worry about. In fact, you just might slap yourself for not listening to him earlier. ….. Start out with his latest album, annihilation of the evil machine, and go from there. Hes had many great albums, solitary confinement, time traveler, book number 7, etc etc.

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

@Teddy – while I don’t think The Chronic is the best album ever, it has to be in the discussion.
On the production side, it was EXTREMELY influential. Growing up, while I knew so many kids that wanted to be rappers, I always wanted to be a producer (kinda still do to this day) and The Chronic was a major reason why.
Also, so many classic tracks on there like “Nothin’ but a G Thang” and “Dre Day”.
Snoop coming out of nowhere, it was pure dopeness.

  • DeeDre

Its funny how everytime someone brings up Nas the only album they refer to as proof is Illmatic. Nas is nice but you can’t even compare him to what Jay has done album wise. Reasonable Doubt, In My Lifetime Vol. 1, Blueprint, The Black Album. All classics and all can be compared to Illmatic. Im not even gonna include Blueprint 3 and 2 because i dont have to. Im sure im forgettin some but Jay’s only bad album in my opinion was Kingdom Come and Life and Times of Sean Carter just wasn’t one of my favorites but its still solid.

You have me there, Ben. My guess is that you tried to get Asher Roth on there with Shane Battier about a year and a half ago. I can’t say for sure.
