Polladaday: Nets Trade?

The most recent trade rumors have Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups and Rip Hamilton winding up in New Jersey, with Devin Harris, Anthony Morrow, Derrick Favors and a slew of Draft picks leaving town. Should the Nets make that deal?

Should the Nets pull the trigger on the newest Carmelo offer?

hell no, the nets would be an average team. trade him to the knicks to play with a legitimate all-star!

A starting 5 of Billups, Rip, Melo, Humphries, and Lopez? That’s a playoff team in the east.

Nah, if he isn’t willing to commit to an extension why waste players on a trade.

This poll is like asking someone if they should take a job with a company that refuses to interview them.

i say no, the nets making a bad move if they take this deal. setting the team back for the next decade just to rent carmelo anthony for a few months? it aint worth it

If they get the committment, its prob a done deal. That starting five is playoff bound and absolutely makes the Nets relevant on and off the court (something mr russian owner man def wants).

It would be a great move for the Nets, but I wish he’ll sign in NY.
